Applebee's

Food took forever and the food was cold when we started eating. The server needs more training. Hardly saw him but when he finally stopped back, we asked if we could have a couple boxes. He never came back, never asked if we wanted desert since we were celebrating a birthday. Overall, poor evening at you restaurant.

We had two separate orders of curb side. Got home & all 3 chicken tender meals were plain chicken nuggets! We ordered honey bbq (2) and extra hot buffalo. We were given dipping sauce!? They were all completely plain chicken nuggets, not even tenders. I ordered the blackened shrimp broccoli alfredo as an entree and it was horribly dry. There was no sauce at all. Literally looked and tasted like a wet noodle. I didn't eat it until the next day when I was able to go purchase my own jar of sauce! So for a $100 dinner, I got to eat some tortillas and spinach dip & two pieces of a chicken quesadilla from my combo app. Was very disappointed. My son ordered the bourbon steak with mushrooms and onion. There were no seasonings on it! It was plain too! He had to add all his own seasonings. And, the 3rd order was the other 2 of the tenders..I mean, nuggets. Very disappointed. Tipped the lady who brought our food out very well. Had it gone to the chef, it'd have been zero. We were all unhappy but didn't call in to complain & dealt with it. Definitely won't be coming back. That was a sad excuse of food. Makes me wonder what it would have been like dining in. Would we still receive 3 ordered of plain chicken nuggets?! Alfredo so dry I had to literally buy a jar of sauce to eat it. 😞

Passing through on the way home & stopped here at Applebee’s latter part of the day on a Sunday night which I often have reservations about. But the servers were pleasant food was good. No complaints here. Late Sunday is when I’ve usually found where a restaurant lets it’s guard down after a long weekend. So I was pleased for a good experience & wife’s happy she doesn’t have to cook when we finally make it home. :)
