Copper Penny Grill

My wife and I visited this place after traveling in from out of town. We were tired and hungry and in desperate need of a good meal. This place delivered. Our server Ashley was fantastic. Not only was she attentive to our needs, but she helped us pick some delicious drinks and food. If we ever visit the area again, this place will be at the top of our list for places to eat!

When i tell you this is the best customer service i have ever received! We went for my brother in laws bday and we dodnt know there were multiple copper penny grills! Turns out our party was in several different locations. We changed our table and amout of people several times. They still managed to seat us all and get our food to the table! Our servers were amazing! The shrimp tacos were great too!

We got the fritters as an app I ordered the 8 bone chicken wings with a side salad, I received plenty of ranch, celery, and sauce on the wings. Asked for extra crispy and they came out perfect. Husband ordered Bourbon Kentucky Hamburger with sweet potato fries. We also got a flight... the Ciderflight from Wisconsin and is like strawberry festival in your mouth... order it...if it's on the menu...its seasonal.

I can honestly say we have never had a bad experience at either location. We like the Rutherford location and the atmosphere. Our friends from Spartanburg always want to eat here every time they are up. The food is very reasonably priced also. We recommend to everyone of our guests that stay in our campground also.

Regan was our server tonight. This girl was so sweet and so hospitable. We didn’t have a chance to run out of a drink and here she came to fill us back up. The food was out quick and was mighty delicious. She checked us any chance she could. We’ve had a few rough servers here lately at this location but miss Regan sure was a delight.

I visit the Copper Penny everytime I come to Rutherfordton. I love the atmosphere there. The food has always been good there hasn't been anything I've ordered that I didn't like. The service is good but especially when Aubrey waits on me. She is the best server/bartender in the restaurant in my opinion. She is kind, knowledgeable, funny and very attentive to her tables. I've also been there when she is manager and I think she does a great job at that position too. Everyone seems to like her, staff and customers and she knows what's going on at all times. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and I will be back the next time I am in town
