This place is packed at lunch. But the interior is very nice and full of things to look at. Even though there was a million customers to take care of. Sara was on point. Fast and with a smile that makes your day way better. The food was great. I tried the mix to know what to order next time. Their bratwurst and schnitzels are awesome. Highly recommend. Visit anytime if you are in town.

This place is different! I love that it’s a small restaurant and not a chained. The food here is delicious and different! I love their pretzels and different type of sausages they over. The food here is very filling because it’s mostly potatoes and carbs. But they have a huge selection on their menu and the prices is reasonable for a large portion.

My husband and I found this place last year when we came down to Florida for the winter. We come here 3-4x a month and we love it! Stuart and his wife own this place and it’s a great place to go with great food and great beer! I love the pork schnitzel appetizer and the German Mac & cheese. My hubby loves the hog wings appetizer. Haven’t met a meal (or beer) that we didn’t like!!

I feel like this place is a hidden gem in Sun City Center! True, traditional German comfort food and beer. The giant pretzel was piping hot and delicious! The beer servings are huge and cheap. I got the Sample Platter to try a little bit of everything - 1 slice of Sauerbraten, 1 slice of Pork Roast, 1 Bratwurst, 1 Chicken Schnitzel, pan-fried potatoes, Spätzle, bread dumplings, Sauerkraut, and Red cabbage - you could split this with another person. The red cabbage was to die for! My only complaint is that the Spätzle was a little bland but the rest of the meal made up for it. Definitely come here with an empty stomach!
