Midtown Eats

Great food, friendly staff, and very clean restaurant! We shared an early dinner and got a few cold plates and the small sashimi to share. The food was fresh and the portions were perfectly sized. The only thing that could have been a little better was there wasn’t any tofu in the miso soup, so that was slightly disappointing, but everything else was perfect.

We got take out for my birthday dinner and everything came out amazing, I'm from L.A. so I'm used to good sushi and this didn't disappoint. Chef gave me a few extra shrimps in my tempura as well, it really made my night. We had shrimp and veggie tempura, rainbow roll and California roll for our sushi lovin toddler last but not least we had the miso and it was really flavorful! Thank you for helping my birthday dreams of yummy sushi come true!

Called to make a reservation. We were told that they would NOT take a reservation and that we could just show up. We did so promptly, within 15 minutes of calling, which the host had said would work perfectly. Upon arrival we were told that they could not accommodate us without a reservation, and that they were “booked” for the rest of the evening. I double checked that we had called the correct number and had gone to the appropriate address. I’ve been in and out of the restaurant indicates for years, this is a new level of incompetence. The food may be good, I don’t know. But don’t waste your time or money here. They clearly don’t care enough about you.

Great place for sushi. I would rate it better than most sushi locations in New Mexico, if not the best. The fish is always fresh and high quality. The chefs have an excellent balance of ingredients that produce bold unique flavors. They have stayed consistent over years and continue to impress. I will continue to eat here and endure the normal wait for high quality food.
