Ivy's Deli

I was in the neighborhood with a friend and I saw the sign for their bubble tea. I love bubble tea, so I decided to stop by and get some. The atmosphere was cramped, but comfortable and decently lit. The service however, was less than stellar. My friend and I waited more than 15 minutes to order our bubble teas, and were then discouraged from getting bubble teas, and encouraged to get a smoothie with tapioca pearls, which was $2 more. We didn't feel like arguing, so my friend got a banana smoothie and I got a kiwi one, each with tapioca. We had to wait another 20 minutes before they came, and were very disappointed. It was the most disgusting smoothie ever, and my friend thought the same of hers. The smoothies were not well mixed (and seemed to be mixed with water, as they were very runny,) and the tapioca had a funny taste to it. We both ended up throwing away our smoothies before they were half-gone because we couldn't stomach any more. I will never go to this place again, and I do not recommend it to anyone but my direst enemies. It was disgusting and expensive, and if I had remembered to keep my receipt, I would have gotten my money back.
