Delicious food. Small place but very authentic. Service could have been a little better but we did get what we ordered. A bit pricey but again delicious.
I was enjoying my meal. It was very good. The chips were fine and crispy, and the fajitas were very tasty. Until I saw Stephen hawking out of the corner of my eye appear out of nowhere. He he brought out a gallon of hot sauce and forced me to chug it. I destroyed the toilet, there was an 80 year old man in there with me. He was disgusted, and he turned out to be Arnold Schwarzenegger. He licked the toilet clean, in front of my very eyes. Overall, the food was solid, the guacamole was exquisite, and the seats were extremely comfortable. It was a 10/10
New owners, new name. Julio’s is our new favorite place to get authentic Mexican food! So damn good, service is awesome and food is even better. The one night we were coming home late from bowling and the owner took my order anyway even though he was cleaning up. We have been loyal fans ever since! Give them a try, you won’t regret it!!!
This place is dynamite !! I knew i was in for treat when I sat down and tried their salsa. It is perfectly me with the right ingredients and spices. I almost got full just on chips and salsa. I then ordered a burrito suizo. I judge a Mexican restaurant based on how they season their steak. This burrito was delicious. The cooks have the spices down to a science. The verde sauce is creamy and delicious. I travel a 150 mile radius around the Chicagoland area for work and this place easily makes my top 3 for Mexican restaurants in that area.
Ordered chilaquiles rojos with cecina and over easy eggs. It was tasty , service was ok. Young girl , nice and attentive. Went there at 12 so it was not busy.
We got carryout but the steak tacos are amazing-like we got three to try between ourselves then he went back to get more. I also like that they have a creamy-style green and red sauce, which both were yum and creamy salsas you dont see anywhere. Annnd they actually gave limes too. 10/10.
One of the best authentic Mexican restaurant in Round lake. Fresh ingredients great service and bomb hot sauces and salsa. Sometimes the chips are overly salty though.
Nice, small place with really good food. Staff was very friendly and attentive. I enjoyed the chicken mole enchiladas. They also have a full bar. Currently the staff are wearing masks, and they are required for entry by patrons.
May look small on the outside, but its ample inside. Several booths, tables to sit and A mini bar with stools. Food is made to order and has the authentic Mexican flavors. I had the torta Alpastor-very filling, full of flavor. If you order tacos get them with everything but get the lettuce, tomatoes on the side. The salsa is delicious and perfect addition to your tacos if you want a kick of spice to your food. Cant wait to try other menu items!
Tried out Julio’s for the first time last night. I ordered a strawberry margarita and Flautas. It was DELICIOUS. The salsa were very flavorful!
