Nestled in the corner of a Shopping Strip in Rosenberg, I found this pretty good seafood restaurant if you're into some down home Cajun Style cooking. There were lots of options to choose from even if you didn't like seafood. The serving size was fairly decent for the cost of the food. On the flavor style scale I give them a 8 out of 10 only because it's supposed to be Cajun so I expect a little more "heat" profile. I ordered the blackened citrus sausage and shrimp on a bed of steamed veggies and it was great, the only drawback was that I like my veggies less soft and more crunch to it. Shrimp by the pound and Chicken, Shrimp and Sausage Jambalaya, chicken pasta and parmesan seasoned chicken wings. Overall my family and I enjoyed the food, I'll definitely be going again. There is outdoor seating available and many Wall mounted televisions if you are into catching the game while you delve into some good N'Orleans style food.
I ordered take out from the Missouri City Location and the customer service from Brandon was excellent. He guaranteed the meal would be good and I let him know I hoped so and I would let him know. When I got home, the first thing I noticed was the portions, it was a lot of food. I ordered the catfish (3) and shrimp (4 large) dinner and my wife order the talapia and shrimp with red beans and rice. Neither of us could finish the meal because it was so much food. The fish was really seasoned well and cooked just right, not too hard and definitely not under cooked. We were very happy with our meal and I called Brandon back to let him know that his guarantee was "spot on" and that we would be dining there again. A good seafood restaurant in Missouri City was needed and Top Shelf Cajun has delivered!!
We arrived in Houston last night and ordered take out for our entire family of 17...everything from the excellent customer service provided by Derrick to the incredible flavors of the perfectly cooked food! The fish, chicken strips, huge juicy shrimp, tender seasoned to perfection fries oysters...the wings, the wings, the WINGS!!! All four flavors (Cajun Sprinkle was my favorite) were fire!! Even the fries and toast were on point!! Thanks Top Shelf and Derrick for helping us kick off our family vacay in the BEST WAY...with GOOD FOOD!!
The food is fabulous! Big catfish fillets and the Jambalaya has a good hot spice to it! Large portions on everything! Happy Hour is 4 to 7. No fountain drinks, canned sodas and bottled water.
Top Shelf Cajun has good food and the BEST drinks! The wings are to die for. The owner and his wife are awesome. The staff is friendly and the atmosphere is very welcoming!
Loved it the first time we went the second time food was extremely salty I’m sure that all depends on the cook that night.. good selection if food.. a bit over priced for some dishes though.. would go and try our luck again.
This place is off the chain, atmosphere is welcoming very friendly and the food is great.. they even have a Dj that's off the charts he's good.. the place is clean TV's everywhere as well. It's two locations Sugarland and Rosenberg!!! Look it up if your looking for great food , vibes, and music!

I know crawfish are technically 'out of season', but if you have them then they should be good. Not real happy with the last batch we had. Service was great, tho'!
Well, this place is certainly underrated and overlooked when it comes to their food! They server everything from baked potatoes to lobster. I recommend Top Shelf Bar and Grill because of the amazing entrees without the hefty price. This place is a hidden GEM!

I got the grilled shrimp and veggie. A very standard plate everywhere else but not here. I full of flavor from the Cajun seasoning, garlic flavor and juicy saturation of butter. The veggie medely was actually a medley of peas, califlower, broccoli, carrots, and zucchini, all perfectly tenderized.Not mention 8 dollars pitchers of mixed drinks ( gotta come back and try that)
