Bro I don’t believe in hyperbole….when I tell you the chicken here is always fresh no lie all the other places especially church’s the chicken is hardly ever fresh HARTZ does not miss when it comes to that!!!!!

First time here and it was good. They have a buffet (not big but good enough) for lunch. Their fried fish is delicious, the fried chicken is good. This place is good for a quick (good) lunch nothing fancy but I liked it and I would come back.

Pretty much used to be a busy place offering the salad bar and drink refills. Actually, the salad bar is closed and no more drink refills. The service still pretty good. Dine-in still available. Just some changes to reflect the actual situation.
UPDATE: The salad bar is back to normal. Love this place in Rosenberg, TX.

We ordered the chicken buffet. All the different types of chicken were really good. The Cole slaw was good. The staff was not uniquely good or bad. I rated the atmosphere down because even though they had a floor A/C unit, it was still on the warm side.

I felt like some fried chicken so I stopped here. I ordered gizzards and livers, green beans and two thighs to go. Considering it was my first time here, I was disappointed that there the gizzards and livers didn’t come with gravy on the side. Had the clerk suggested it, I would have ordered it. Pretty good fast fried chicken. I like the crust. If ever I’m in Rosenberg again and want fried chicken, I might try the buffet.

Just want to let y'all know that we had the fried chicken, fried okra,
and rolls last Saturday for our moving crew and everyone raved about it. We all thought it was some of the best we ever had.
