Truly enjoyed this venue. I thought the design of the decor was amazing. Just very well laid out and appealing to the eye. The food was really good and so was the service. Tried the house old fashioned, very good. We went for a country band and wanted to dance. We danced in front of the stage which is kinda narrow but worked out well. Highly recommend.

Stopped in early afternoon and the place was nearly empty. Took a seat at the bar and was there during a shift change. Both bartenders were great people and full of good vibes and energy. They really made you feel like you should be happy too. Definitely a good place with good music at a nice volume. Bring your vax proof. It's Chicago... As for the food. I ordered the pitmaster combo plate since I couldn't make up my mind. The best part was the tiny cup of grits off to the side. Very good actually. The actual plate looked well thought out. The brisket was moist, good work, but hardly any smoke ring. The ribs were average with little meat on them, and the pulled pork was bland. I'd say it was slightly above average overall. Nothing worth going out of my way for. Maybe grill the toast too for appearance. No telltale paper towels in sight. No extra BBQ sauce around other than a little cup. I'd respect that if the flavor was better. The sauce is like a thick Ken Davis bottle flavor. I would guess the appetizer quality would be really good given the venue. My recommendation is show up for fun and a live show and have a meal if you get hungry. Extra star for the staff.

I love that the chicken tenders are like actual fried chicken and not processed batter. The mac and cheese comes in a small skillet and it is EXTRA cheesy and delicious!!! The portions are descent. As for the brisket nachos…not too impressed. They had a very small portion of brisket on top of the nachos for the the price. Our waitress, Noel was the best!! She was really kind and hospitable!!! Great job on the service Noel!!!

The atmosphere really sells this place alone. But with the addition of the food and service, this place is a great place to visit. I got the smoked brisket, lean. I really enjoyed the meal, one tiny nitpick is that the Coleslaw had too much dressing, making the flavor unbalanced. Aside from this, I would recommend this place to go out and eat at.
