The Capital Grille

Recently tried this place for the first time ever on Valentine's Day and both my wife & I had a wonderful evening out. When I made the reservation with Open Table, there was no indication that proof of vaccination was required prior to being seated. My wife & I are both vaccinated but weren't exactly "prepped" to show proof when we confronted the host. Located right in front of the Loews Chicago O'Hare Hotel, this sophisticated steakhouse boasts a relatively limited menu but with an extensive wine/cocktail list. Setting is both elegant & romantic, food was superb and less expensive than Ruth's Chris & Fleming's and the service was nothing short of spectacular. Our server Richard did an exceptional job and if we ever dine here again, we're gonna request him as our server.

This restaurant is amazing! Definitely recommending this place. I just bumped into this area yesterday with my best friend and we were just actually trying to find a place to hang out on and hopefully have a peaceful dine in. it was really a miracle being in here. The ambiance of the place literally set up my mood after just walking in. the vibes is really top notch and I like how the staff greeted me on my way in. their service is phenomenal. Their workers are friendly, kind, cooperative, patient and professional. They would really assist you and talk to you properly whether it would be the menu, or finding a seat or just regarding about the place. Aside from the cool ambiance and great service of this Capital Grille place is that their foods are really high quality! We ordered their Crab Cakes, Salmon, Mozzarella wrapped Prosciutto, lobster, steak and a chocolate cake for dessert. Really recommending those! Their foods are all perfectly seasoned and well cooked. I like how they prepared everything and the size portion is pretty neat, the deal is nice as well. Great place with great people to be with and high quality mouth-craving foods. Nice place. Ver y clean, service was fast and continuous. Check ups every 10 mins at most. water is constantly filled. Table is constantly swept of unused plates. Bar area can be loud even for dining area in bar. 4 stars because I didn't know they serve meat VERY RARE. Meat was cool in the middle which was strange to me. They explained it to me after returning it twice to get cooked more! A thicker cut than I expected- chefs recommendation. Great steak though! Enjoyed the Crab cakes and Lobster. They will split orders for 2 ppl. Also, gave a complimentary treat for birthday in pics- Salmon on a cucumber! Valet is fast, free and courteous! I recommend going here if your not thrifty!
