Rick's Hamburger

During a family trip to Los Angeles from Salt Lake City we found ourselves a bit stranded, but managed to get stuck where we were lucky to find great freshly prepared food at Rick's Burger on Garvey Street in Rosemead (an area my wife, son, and I became quickly and well acquainted with). I enjoyed an Avocado Cheeseburger combo while my wife had a Chef Salad w/Turkey & Ham, while my son had chicken strips. The food was delicious and hit the spot, and was a nice change of pace from traditional fast food. It felt like a classic diner from the long past. They had covered outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. I think with any future excursions to Los Angeles area, I would much rather stay in this area because of places like this. We went to Rick's burger to get our lunch cause we were craving for an avocado bacon hamburger and this is what we get from them, avocado is nasty and we had to throw away most of our food, so dissatisfied and disappointed right know with them, cashier had a really bad service, never happened before but today is money down the trash.
