Cool Mirchi is known for authentic hyderabadi dum biryani.
No matter how many restaurants you visit in this proximity you couldn't find the matching taste.
They are well known for catering orders and dining area is little small space.

Good portion for take out order on goat biryani (now it's 20 bucks) Good taste, flavourful but goat were no where to be found. After digging thru the food , may be there were 3_4 pieces(mostly bones).
For 20 dollars I want more 🍖. Giving 3 stars because it tasted really good .

The reason for the 3 stars is due to the temperature in the restaurant. It was freezing. Not sure why you wouldn't turn on the heat in Chicago winter especially if it's 10F outside. They had 2 space heaters trying to heat up the dining area. The food was great so I would surely recommend as a takeout place but not as dine in unless it's summer or they get their heating normalized.

Amazing food but wish service was better! And super hot with no ac!!!!!! We sat for thirty minutes when another group came in and got food before us and gave us room temp water instead of cold. They barely interacted with us. Maybe takeout is better?

One of the restaurants serving authentic south Indian cuisine. Their dishes are spicy if you order medium which is expected for an authentic cuisine. I love their biryanis, they are plentiful with good taste, especially their Vijayawada special biryani. We ordered Gobi 65 which is devoid of any taste and felt a bit sour, could be attributing to the dough that a bit old. Pepper chicken is good. They have snacks to the side most of the time that you can purchase, though a bit on the costly side for the quantity.

Such yummy dosa!! Very crispy and tasty! We tried the Mysore Masala Dosa which had a kick and the Paneer Tikka dosa was flavorful and filling. We also had the crunchy onion pakoras which were delicious.

Good selection of vegetarian food, food is seasoned well, good spice level, and portions are very big. My order was late, however. I will still likely come back as it was delicious and very close to where I live.

Best Indian Restaurant for buffet & ala carte. I always recommend this place to anyone looking to try tasty & spicy South Indian (Andhra/Telangana) flavors. For buffet I recommend Saturday lunch buffet & for ala carte my favorites include Goat Fry with Chicken Biryani.
