Checkers

Checkers is the place I go when I am craving seasoned fries. Although, I must say, they do not give you as many fries as they used to back in the day. I do not like their burgers; they are not nasty, but not a place to go if you're craving a good one. I like their chicken - all types. Yesterday, I had the fry seasoned chicken strips and I thought they were really good. The drink sizes are huge, so if you're the thirsty type, that's a plus.

Although the food is decent, the long wait for the drive thru makes it intolerable! Clearly people enjoy the food because the line is always ridiculously long! The last time I tried to grab food, I spent over 20mins in line and was so agitated that it wasn't moving. I reversed out of the line and went somewhere else. I passed by the same checkers heading home and would you believe the same darn cars were still there waiting. How sway???

I like Checkers, they have decent food. I only come to Checker when I can't decide what to get to lunch and I simply haven't been for a long time. Never my first choice. At this location, they claim both drive thrus are always open (signs are posted). This is not true. Only the driver side drive thru is available. They put a cone in the path of the other lane. This location is also pretty slow compared to other Checkers. Also compared to the other Checkers I have been too, the food is really really greasy. I like a little grease, but this is way more than what you want.
