Big Boy Restaurant

The steamed broccoli was cold. The salt shakers (yes shakers... We tried 4 different shakers) would not produce any salt. The salt inside the shakers was mushy. Took the lids off and they were caked with mushy salt. Evidently they had been this way a long time. The loaded hash browns were not loaded. We asked for sour cream and never got any. We ordered 2 more eggs, over easy and it took about 20 minutes to get them. The green chile burger was cold as were the fries. Very, very disappointing. I usually give good reviews, not this time. ***UPDATE*** BIG BOY ASKED FOR MY EMAIL. I RESPONDED. THEY NEVER RESPONDED BACK. THEY DID NOT MAKE IT RIGHT!

Haven't had Big Boy (Bob's Big Boy) in ages. They happened to have this one near the DTW (Detroit) airport and I decided to give it a whirl. Had the Classic Breakfast (eggs, bacon or sausage, hasbrown, and toast). It was basically an all American breakfast. The food was good (not mouth watering, but good), and the staff were very friendly and offered suggestions, etc. I'd happily eat here again if I am in the area.

Me and my dad had stopped for a quick bite. After leaving and dealing with my mom being in the hospital we were ready to relax and decompress. The waitress was very attentive and made the experience very pleasant. We both ordered burger and fries. I had the mushroom swiss and my dad had the best ever cheese burger. Both were cooked perfectly and both had fresh and great condiment appointments. The fries were crispy and smelled wonderful. It reminded my dad of the olden days of diners and soda jerk places. Really couldn't find a fault with any of this dining experience. Even the prices were on point. This location being near the airport and hotels made it fairly busy but not too overwhelming. Will definitely be going back soon.
