Very casual place, more than Italian food on the menu, and priced right! We ordered a calzone and chicken fettuccine the sauce on both meals where great. Small selection of wine and beer. Loved the family feel of the restaurant. We will be back.
We love Art's! It's great food, fast! Great service, and always friendly and smiling.
Today we got our favorite friend zucchini appetizer. I got penne w/Chicken and creamy pesto and he got the Hot Sicilian Sandwich. He asked for it grilled and they had no problem. We always have leftovers for dinner. Love that they're open on Sundays. They have a nice little bar with the games on.
One of our favorite places for a comfort food lunch or dinner. My favorite dish is the build your own pasta lunch special. I like the penne pasta and the meat sauce. The pizzas are a nice change of pace. They are cooked in a wood fired oven. It's my habit to order Spumoni for dessert. Highly recommended.
This place is honestly one of the best gems I've found since moving to Rohnert Park. I can't think of a entree, appetizer, or soup I've tried from here that I disliked. You can build your own custom tailored pizza, calzone, or pasta, a feature that I love, and often enjoy creating unorthodox but delicious flavor combos.
They will offer classic and unique specials as well so make sure to ask. I think the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food and consider Art's Place a great value. Definitely one of my first choices if we decide to eat out. Their onion rings and their clam chowder would be among my top recommendations to try.
**Please note I only 4 starred the "Atmosphere" category because we almost always call in our orders for take out and so I have virtually no experiences of sit down dining in at the restaurant. Whenever ordering or picking up food, staff is polite and courteous.
I ordered lasagna, a house salad and a kitty cocktail! My husband ordered clams and linguine, a Caesar salad and we took tiramisu home for dessert! The lasagna was delicious and served up quickly! Their house salad 🥗 was also amazing! I loved the tiramisu as well! Great Italian food and service! A++
Art’s is truly a favorite of my mom and I’s since I graduated from SSU a few years back. Whenever we’re in town we try to come here as we’re never disappointed in the food or their service! Its a casual atmosphere with high quality food and big portions, we love always look forward to our leftovers the next day!! My mom’s fave is the shrimp scampi while I’ve tried almost everything on the menu and can’t pick a favorite.
I love this place, authentic in every way. Friendly employees, great service and delicious food. Large portions but excellent quality and very reasonable prices. I had the chicken marsala, which was outstanding! The ambiance is simple with memorabilia on the wall and a long bar. This is an “old school Italian restaurant that is satisfying and an excellent value. We left feeling satisfied!
We arrived at 4:30 on a Friday evening, we were seated in a booth with these funky pressed wood dividers and a bunch of chairs stacked up in the corner (this is 5 days after the opening in Sonoma County) ....service was decent but they seem to have a problem with flies. Onion rings were overdone, almost burnt...he liked his pasta but it was nothing gourmet. I hated writing this review because I have loved it in the past. We will give it another chance in a couple months
Update: we tried it again and had a much better experience, food was much better and we asked to sit in the bar area....thw booths have this funky particle borad that was tacky and looks like your in an elevator. I bumped them.ip to 4 stars.
This place is amazing. Food is always fresh. Quality, taste, temperature, and portions are always perfect! Really great menu. Lots of things to choose from.
Great food great and friendly service. I will put this on my more frequent list. Relatively inexpensive also. I had a calzone. It was delicious.
