Maynard's Restaurant

This was probably our third visit to the dining room. It’s very nice and the customer service is excellent. Brenda was our waitress with quick service always checking on us. In fact, she’s so effective that she got my refill and I didn’t even notice. My wife had the teriyaki chicken salad which was excellent. I was disappointed in my stir-fry chicken. It had little rice and cashews and mainly only two vegetables. Hence, the only reason for my four stars instead of five. We didn’t have the carrot cake for two but it looks so good. We might have to return.

First time back in about fifteen years. 9-19-2021 Why so long?, I don’t know. Dined with my wife while the MN Vikings were on tv. It was a very rambunctious crowd. Our dinner was quite good. Wait, better than that, I mean really good! The cheering was nice to hear. We’ll be going again real soon. How do they make that tortellini taste so good?

This was fantastic all around. Our waiter was very tentative and friendly. We ordered he spinach dip as an appetizer and it was one of the best I have had in a restaurant. Our meals were also excellent (pasta and pork chop). The atmosphere was perfect for date night as well. Highly recommend for any date nights or birthdays or just to have a nice yummy dinner.

Our bartender and waitress were wonderful. Attentive but not pushy or invasive. Tuesday's they have a steak special. The steak was cooked to perfection, medium rare, just like we ordered it. The steak was tender and juicy with a lot of flavor. I recommend ordering the home fries rather than the baked potato. The home fries are large chunks of potato fried with onions, so delicious. The veggies were tasty too, steamed so they still had a little crunch to them. The pork chops are very tasty as well, the best I have tasted in a restaurant. The entire meal was excellent. I highly recommend Maynard's in Rogers. Check them out, you won't be disappointed!

We were celebrating with our son and new wife and friends.The waitress was friendly, easy to ask a million questions, accommodating our group size and there when needing something. We were seated by one of their fireplaces which was wonderful on such a cold day. Our food was cooked to our liking for all of us and tasted wonderful. It was really full of people, yet we still waited on quickly and could order when ready. Kudos to the staff and cooks!
