The 1907

Was gifted the honor to tag along for dinner one night back in August or so. Delightfully hidden, the atmosphere of the space is comfortable and open and the room smells brilliantly of cedar. As someone who hasn't experienced a lot of interesting combinations of food, I was a little nervous for the meal to be served to me. What a silly notion. The food was spectacular, I absolutely loved 6 of the 7 dishes I received. The flavors were outstanding, the bites perfectly sized, and the combinations of texture and taste were spot on. The staff was kindly attentive, and when noticing that I didn't finish one of my courses, asked if they could replace it with something, and were concerned why I didn't like it. Their attention to this gave me, as a customer, the feel that they were genuinely determined for me to have a delightful experience. The wines offered to pair with our food were fantastic and deliciously drinkable. I have desperately tried to get a reservation ever since I went, and will go back in a heartbeat!

Once inside the decor soothes you and the table layout, music, and overall ambiance sets the scene. Not fumbling over a menu lends itself to time spent connecting with the people you’re sitting with. Each and every course that’s brought is made with such extraordinary flavors and textures, it’s a like a dream in every bite. Chef Jason Paul comes to explain each course and Danielle’s wine service is impeccable. Even the blush colored toilet and brass accents in the bathroom had my Taurus heart swooning. Chef Jason P aul Roth is a true master of his craft. Every single dish he served was a unique, flavorful, texturized journey of lingual ecstasy. Our waitress paired perfectly complementary off the beaten path wines that both brought the flavor out of each dish and offered a perfect palette cleanse between each of the 7 courses. It's clear these two put careful thought to each element in this experience. From the feel of the handcrafted butter knifes to the succulent beats that the chef creates to.
