Hing Ta Restaurant

The BEST Chinese buffet we’ve had since we moved to North Carolina!!!!! This is a quiet little buffet but the food tastes amazing. I ate so much I couldn’t eat anymore food. Their homemade duck sauce is to die for. The kids and my husband loved it too. The service was quick and great! As soon as the cup was empty or almost empty she filled it. We ask for napkins and she brought them immediately. They have nice decor as well. They have cakes and ice cream for dessert. We will definitely be back for more!

While small, this is by far the best buffet around! The food is always very fresh and hot and you can certainly taste the difference. The staff is very friendly as well and always want to ensure you are happy with the food. If anything is not right, the owner will absolutely help fix the problem! Excellent food, excellent customer service - top of my list for Chinese buffet!

Food is probably the best in Rocky Mount but the prices are OUTRAGEOUS. Compared to the old menu, about everything has doubled in price or more. Also this last visit an item was missing from the order when we got home, white rice....my husband was not happy. I should have gone back asked for a refund. Take out people...advise to check order before you leave. I wish so much a Vietnamese and also a Thai restaurant would come to Rocky Mount.

Don’t let any reviews or pictures fool you. This place is full of old locals who have never experienced any other buffet. This place is terrible. Smallest selection of food I’ve ever seen. Maybe 20 bays of food and half of em where empty! They have bunch of mirrors behind food so when you walk through door place looks bigger and more full of food. Big time optical illusion. They don’t even have the main chinease dishes… no deserts, no shushi, little salad bar. Then wait for it….$20 per person LMAO! Ha try like maybe worth $8. If your from out of town go somewhere else. You been warned.
