Mona Lisa Pizza

I’ve eaten a lot of pizza in my time and if I had a picture of myself you wouldn’t disagree. Let me tell you, this place is worth the drive, the wait, the whatever you need to do to get here. But you won’t wait, I came in was greeted right away. Food came out in a timely fashion and it was absolutely delicious!! I tried the gluten free and was blown away something healthy could taste so good.

My first couple of times of getting the pizza to go was a good experience and the pizza was good. The one time I ate in the restaurant it turned out to be a horrible experience that I’ll never return again. Note to staff: you shouldn’t talk **** about your customers so loudly that they can hear you. I tell everyone now your pizza is horrible and not to go here!

We hadn't tried them in a few years and wanted to support the local business. We got their "Large Chicken BBQ" pizza. They don't apparently sell that in an X-Large, for some reason, or we would have gotten it. See price on their online menu. See pic of pizza in over sized box (14" pizza as measured). Taste was okay. Plenty of BBQ sauce (no problem there) and sauce tasted good. Okay amount of chicken and cheese. Great service! The problem lowering its stars was the odd crust/dough. It was very chewy and dense for pizza crust. Seemed more like bread dough than pizza dough. Under proved and over worked dough (if I am getting the cause correct based on all of the cooking shows watched during isolation here). Also crust ends did not rise (about a 1/4" thick and dense dough/crust evenly from middle to edges). If you like thick/dense/chewy crusts, you would love their pizza. This is probably one of the best pizza places i've been to in my life, and i've been around the block. I highly recommend the Chicken Alfredo Pizza. Also, I don't mention names in reviews out of respect for the privacy of workers, but my waiter, Alex, has to be one of the most friendly people I have ever met. He always has a smile when serving me and has even delivered to me a few times. The other workers here are great too, I can hear them talking to each other in the kitchen and they always help each other out. TL;DR Excellent pizza place with and excellent staff, will be coming again soon.
