I consider myself a pizza connoisseur and all I can say is WoW!! It's probably the best pizza I've had. The dough was light, airy but still able to hold all the toppings without being soggy and had a nice charred crisp to it. The toppings had great flavor and combined well with everything on the pie. Calamari was great as well! I drove almost an hour to get to this place and will make it my monthly routine. Yes, it's that good!

Came here for my birthday lunch! Our waitress was very attentive, friendly, and knew the menu well. The inside atmosphere is comfortable and rustic Italian family style, and yet also feels upscale. We even got to meet the owner's grandson who works there. They also have an outside covered patio. Food came out super fast and is high quality! We tried 5 different dishes, and each one was exceptional: suppli al telefono, gnocchi al pomodoro, veal Bolognese, Caesar salad, and margherita pizza. Would happily go again and try everything else!

Wow!! This place has been on our list for a while and it did not disappoint! Not one little bit. We went for lunch on a weekday afternoon around 1:30pm. The restaurant was not busy at all, with maybe 4 other tables full. We were directed to choose a table and were quite impressed with the decor. A lot of newspaper articles near the main entrance and art work dotted around the restaurant. The open kitchen is a great idea and really cool to see. We ordered two pizzas, the classic Margherita and a funghi pizza. From sitting down to getting the food was less than 10-15 minutes. The pizza was amazing! I would say a hair under pizza from Naples! The funghi had an amazing truffle flavour to it and the Margherita was simple, yet tasty. The crust had a great char and sourdough flavour. Prices were reasonable. We paid $39 (not including tip) for two pizza’s and ended up taking half home. Prices overall ranged from $14-$20 for pizzas. They also had a good selection of appetisers and pastas to choose from. Overall a fantastic restaurant, we will definitely be going back and you should give it a try as well!

This place is a hidden gem. Absolutely delicious food! Great woodfired pizza - we had Margherita PIU. Don't pass dessert! You gotta have dessert, too! Creme brulee and pistachio cake was awesome. Edit : - went there for the second time, and of course, the food is awesome! We had Calamari - the Calabrian Marinara dip is just out of this world. We also had potato and proseucito croquettes and Fichi white pizza. For dessert, we had creme brulee and a lemon cake. Creme brulee is delicious, and we prefer the pistachio cake over the lemon cake, but they were out if it this time.

Why am I sharing an empty plate, you might ask? The obvious answer is the food vanished quickly, it was so delicious! Appetizers, Caesar salad, risotto balls, deviled eggs, and a small plate of Very Freshly cooked spaghetti made for a delicious dinner. The 4stars for atmosphere is only because there was a pizza-oven mishap and the room was a bit smoky, and open doors made it chilly. Don’t be deterred-definitely worth a stop. We are travelers from SE Va and love a good, well valued “new” discovery. Check it out.

Hands-down, one of the best pizzas I’ve ever had, and the service and atmosphere was outstanding. Great food. Great staff. Great ownership. This place checks all the boxes.. their crab dip special was also the best I’ve ever had.

The food is amazing and the service is on par, it's a gem of a pizza place, and deserves all they ratings they have, I am going to make it a destination to eat here again. I wouldn't take my wife out on date, though, because of the location it's in. If they were in a better location, they could benefit from that (perhaps a second location? )

My mom was on the hunt for a good mushroom pizza and Ema Rossi delivered! This was our first time here and our server was very welcoming, knowledgeable, and attentive. We had two starters - mussels and croquettes. Mussels were plump and the sauce was delicious. Our server had the foresight to ask us if we wanted to keep the sauce which we were too embarrassed to ask. The croquettes was crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and every bite had a bit of proscuitto. We also ordered three pizzas - fungi, fichi, and parma. Each were unique in its own way and ingredients were fresh. Personally, I wished it was a crispier bottom but I really enjoyed the chewiness of the dough. The crust was really good dipped in the mussel sauce. Overall a wonderful experience and would definitely recommend!

Well executed Neapolitan style pies. We had two pizzas from their pop-up at BabyCat brewery. I didn’t order but I believe I had the Margherita pizza with pepperoni. One of the better brick oven pizzas I’ve had in a while. My favorite pizzeria is in DC but this comes very very close. Honestly? This could be better. The dough was fresh, pillowy, and springy with just the perfect bite. The combination of salty and spice from the pepperoni, the freshness from the basil, and if I’m not mistaken, there was some sweetness perhaps from some honey. All in all a spectacular pie. Only 4 stars simply because the other pie we ordered, sausage and peppers, was a bit lackluster compared to the other one. Not bad, but the other pie was the ring dinger for sure. I think the peppers on this one released a bit too much moisture during the cook which led to a little soggier crust. Also, despite the sausage being delicious on its own, I felt like the pie lacked a bit of salt and/or spice. I wish I could rate 4.5 stars. Granted, this likely isn’t possible as a pop-up but I’d like to see the same pie with the peppers par/pre-cooked separately then added. I say this with all due respect because, as I said, these were still a couple of the better Neapolitan style pies I’ve had since moving to this area.

Delicious menu - had a hard time choosing what to order because everything sounded amazing! Burrata was excellent & the pizzas were perfect. Above & beyond service as well. We will be back! 😊
