I cannot recommend this place enough! I have never ever written a review before but I immediately jumped to write this as soon as I walked out the door. Completely stumbled onto this place today but so happy we did. The service was incredible, our waiter was so genuine and sweet! He took amazing care of us and even gave us free vegetable curry, rice pudding and extra rice to have with our leftovers! We tried 10 different dishes all of them were fantastic! The atmosphere was great,the acoustics were really nice so it wasn’t too loud which is perfect for those who are hard of hearing or for large parties. The food was delicious and is a great spot for a date or to even bring the family! 11/10 will definitely be coming back soon!!
We just moved to Rockville and have been looking for a regular Indian spot. Om will definitely be our go to. The food was incredible and the owner Louis was so kind and welcoming. Can’t wait to go back!
Just ate here because it was down the road from my hotel and I was craving some Indian food. I went in immediately after opening; service was great. I've read some bad reviews from a few people, and they're hard to believe. I travel all around the country for work, and eat Indian food all over. This place was great. The food was not "too salty", "dry", "burnt", or any of the other things some people have mentioned. The owner was my server and he was fantastic. Very friendly and very interested in how I liked the dishes I had.
I will say the atmosphere feels a bit older and fancier than what I tend to prefer, however there is something charming about going into places like that; I'm 26. I didn't feel out of place, or uncomfortable. The menu was certainly written for people less familiar with Indian food, which I imagine would be very helpful for most. I will return again next time I'm in the area for work.
I had the most lovely experience dining at Om Indian Restaurant last night—the food and atmosphere were absolutely amazing, definitely my favorite Indian restaurant out of all the ones I’ve been to (& I’ve eaten a lot of Indian food!) We ordered the saag paneer and a lamb dish, which were both delicious. I have a bad sweet tooth so when I go to Indian restaurants I always have to get a mango lassi & gulab jamun for dessert. SO delicious!! But the best part of our experience was interacting with the restaurant owner, Luis. He was so kind and genuine and made us feel really appreciated. We spoke with him for a while, really connected & he gave us a free butter chicken and rice pudding to-go. I felt cared for at this restaurant and it’s clear that the owners will go above and beyond to show appreciation for their customers. This is the type of locally owned business we need to support & make sure they thrive!! I will definitely be back.

Good and quality food but somehow I do not like their garlic naan (too crispy) and white rice (old). Over all good but yes you can try.
This locally owned Indian restaurant is my go to. I tried their buttered chicken and really enjoyed eating it with the garlic naan. Also their lamb samosa are stuffed full!!! Even though its take out only during covid, the service was great. The owner was really friendly over the phone and helped me pick out delicious items that fit around my dietary restrictions. Like a previous reviewer said, if you can, order over the phone vs via grubhub/ubereats/etc since they charge the store 30% of the bill.

First time eating Indian food. The staff were nice and courteous. They recommended several tastes based on our flavor profile. Asked about spice level since Indian food tends to be spicy. There were frequent patrons and it seemed like a family. Staff would greet frequent guests by name.
Ordered Butter Chicken which was my favorite. The garlic Naan was my favorite.
Portions are great and eating several different ones at the same time provides a unique experience.
my go to place!! butter chicken is especially yummy, and sometimes they include naan or rice just because they think it wouldn’t be butter chicken without them! they’re extremely nice, and care for ur lunch // dinner. mango lassi also tastes like melted mango cheesecake, exceptionally delicious.
Wonderful restaurant. Amazingly flavourful dishes, each course a delight. Lots of vegetarian options. Will definitely be back for more!
