Very enjoyable - beautiful design, friendly service, tasty food. The kitchen is stretching to make interesting dishes and we enjoyed most of them. Duck nachos weren’t really nachos, as the chips were soft from being piled high with toppings, but flavor was great. We ordered all small dishes, with the Asian Noodles the consensus favorite. Leave room for dessert! Recommended.

Great service and food! A bit loud for normal conversation. My friends and I chose several appetizers, red wine and creme brûlée as dessert. Fun place - can’t wait for reopening of the patio!

Wonderful, cozy restaurant! What a find! Wish we didn't live 10 hours away!! Ambience was great. Sat on the patio. Food was fabulous. and our waiter was truly superb. He said he'd worked there 17 years. He knew his food & his wine. In fact we brought a couple bottles of the wine home with us to Tulsa. This would definitely rate as one of our best dining experiences!

We used Abreo for our wedding caterer as well as liquor/bar service and they did a fantastic job. Because of the pandemic, we had to reschedule our wedding date twice and they were flexible and accommodating throughout that stressful process. The only downside is that their prices were raised from our original contract which made things difficult as it was outside of our budget, but they did what they could to compromise on some of the costs to make it doable for us. Ultimately even the higher prices were entirely worth the money - everyone raved about how this wasn’t typical wedding food and seemed genuinely impressed by how delicious the meals were. The servers and bartenders were outstanding - so attentive, friendly, and fun and made the day so special. If you want to ensure that your wedding has elevated, delicious food beyond classic “bleh” wedding food, this is your place!

Everything at Abreo was just outstanding! This was our first time there (boyfriend and I) and we were beyond satisfied with the whole experience. The drinks were delicious. My boyfriend ordered beer from a local brewery and I got the L.V. For small plates we ordered cheese curds and chicken dumplings. Both small plates were delish! And for the large plates we ordered the snake river farms flat iron steak and the hot chicken. The large plates were also to die for. To end the night we ordered the warm chocolate cake for dessert. Best molten lava cake we’ve ever had! Every single item was delightful! I would 100% recommend this place to everyone!!!

A truly awesome experience, from our tasting at their restaurant to them adjusting their menu to accommodate every guest's dietary needs. Their food was what everyone talked about the next day. With great main dishes and excellent apps, some of which were saved for us to enjoy during the craziness of the day. Karen was great at coordinating with us to organize the day.

Beautiful atmosphere with delicious food. Hats off to whoever made this unique menu. The squash ravioli was literally the best ravioli ive had in my life.
Update: First visit was way better with better service. Food was still good but service was bad. Wouldnt take plates unless I piled them at the end of the table. Took an hour to ask me if I wanted a drink refill that I never got. Patrons were loud and drunk. One lady was saved by her man from falling into our table on the way out. Definitely 2 different experiences.

Best meal I've had in Rockford thus far. I was really impressed with the flavor and presentation. We were served slices of bread a long with a dish or butter topped with Italian spices, and salt were served. My spouse and I ordered, from the small plate, duck nachos. The duck nachos were served on fried wontons and topped with red cabbage, a fresh cheese, cilantro, avocado, jalapeno peppers (seems like they pickled their own), and a slightly spicy red sauce. From the large plate, I ordered blacked scallops, and shrimp with pork belly. The scallops were medium rare (but if you’re picky they will cook to the doneness you like), on a bed of brown rice a type of celery, and something from the broccoli family, with a tomato-based slightly spicy sauce. The shrimp with pork belly was served over the creamiest cheese grits topped with a red sauce, and scallions that served as garnish, flavor and crunch. For dessert we ordered the warm chocolate cake. The cake was similar to a molten lava cake served with a caramel sauce and crème anglaise, very tasty. The tip was added into the bill. upscale restaurants in large cities charge for your meal and add service fee(tip) when you make a reservation. The total was just over $151 including tip.
