So I ordered the club sandwich and it was fantastic. Even had real turkey. Was totally filling as well. I would have liked less mayo, but I just took some of it off. Next time I'll just ask for less, no big woop. The home made fries people!!! Delicious!!! Didn't come with salt on them so if you like salt make sure to ask (I had a to-go order, but I know for next time). Great little spot, the gal who took my order was polite and awesome. Next I'm going to try the chicken fried steak!!!
Awesome all American comfort fair cooked on a seasoned grill. Justin is a marvelous cook who is willing to make you anything for which the restaurant has handy. Great gravy, savory sauces, bountiful breakfasts and sublime sandwiches are available for about 8 bucks a pop. This is a gem of a find in the middle of columnar basaltic cliffs.
Have eat here twice at this place, and have me a happy face 🤣 and a course happy stomach
Odd Couple.
I’ve passed by this travel stop occasionally and didn’t find it impressive by any standard. However, my schedule required me to stop here. So, I tried BJ’s restaurant. Not having high expectations made my dining experience that much sweeter. As noted by other patrons, the portions are huge for the price. Attention is given to presentation as well, which I’ve never seen a travel stop restaurant. Obviously they want food pictures taken and posted. This time, I went with the waitress suggestions which turned out a better choice than I would’ve made. BJ’s Island Restaurant is not a typical travel stop restaurant. Their excellent attitude, price, cleanliness, and quality, isn’t typical of their travel stop neighbor either. An odd coupling indeed.
My to go order was ready when I arrived and food was delicious!! Fries were so good!
Very good diner food....love it!
