Firehouse Subs

Don’t go here if you’re a minority or POC. Don’t work here either! The way they treat their black workers is terrible, just like the quality of their food! I’ve been here twice and seen them talking junk to the young black kids , but not checking the WHITE ADULTS who were doing nothing and taking numerous smoke breaks. Jon and Kendall both need to be out of their jobs. They are highly unprofessional and even one of the employees told me that they don’t care about the store, just the money. The private owner Larry shouldn’t be an owner bc he is lazy and does not care about his business. The food is not fresh, and the lettuce has been sitting in the same dirty pan for weeks. The tuna salad is NOT fresh and I seen one of the employees drop a knife and still use it to cut the bread. This place needs to be shut down, it is beyond unsanitary and unsafe.

Called in an order for New York Steamers and when my husband brought them home, instead of thinly sliced the pastrami was as thick and tough as an old door mat. The sandwiches were completely inedible. Will never get food from this location again. We have gotten awesome steamers once before at the Tega Cay Highway 160 location and it was such a disappointment to bite into sandwiches that were so awful. I’m not sure I could ever even order another one at any other location. Yuck.

I've come here twice on the weekends & each time there has been a crowd of people waiting for an hour for their food, myself included. This never happens at every other location I go to, & since this one is particularly busy, i suggest hiring more workers in order to keep it running properly & no more bad reviews to keep coming. In fact I'm waiting in the store right now & have heard multiple complaints from multiple customers saying they've waited more than an hour. Even when you order on the app the time it takes to get ready is still an hour plus. Not to mention they got all of our orders wrong & didn't follow instructions at all. Won't be coming here again.

Attempted to call my order in twice today while driving in from Charlotte. No answer on both calls. When I walked in to place my order in person the girl behind the counter was playing with her cell phone and the other two employees were talking about not working there anymore. Food is Usually great. Customer service was sub par today

I ordered & paid for my food on online. When I got to the store on it was closed. When I called the number on the confirmation email and online it was someone’s personal cell number. No one would give me my $12 refund. I had to go across town to another firehouse sub to pay for another sub. Firehouse that is stealing & definitely bad business to promote the fire fighters!!!
