Chips on the Hill is my favourite local fish and chips shop. The owners are lovely and have been there for years.
They tend to cook your order fresh so you'll wait a few minutes but it's worth it to get that fresh cooked taste. Their menu is quite extensive and there are good options for vegetarians. Price wise, they are very fair given the increase in prices.
Oh, forgot to mention that you can get a deep fried Mars bar or Oreos. Gooey and very tasty but definitely an occasional treat.

Favorite place to go for chips. Don't really mind the prices as you can certainly do a lot worse in terms of chip shops. Best food in the local area though, and always hot and fresh.
Staff are quick in there and very friendly.
There is a £6 minimum card spend imposed. Seeing as cash can only be drawn out in 10s, it can feel a bit "all or nothing" if you just fancy a bag of chips and don't have a few quid change on you for it.
Overall though, can't be beaten.

Fish and chips were good. Fish was better than most places around Medway and had a nice flavour to it. At £9.30 for medium cod and small chips though, it’s not the best value chippy out there.

Always a nice friendly place to visit for Fish and Chips. You can ring and pre order for a quick pick up and offer gluten free options for coeliacs.

This is the best fish and chip shop I've ever had the pleasure of eating from I moved away from the area for a little while and moved back and the food is still as amazing as ever

This is our regular. Always greeted with a friendly welcome. Quick service (I tend to phone order through). Food is very good quality. Nice batter!

Amazing place. They have gluten free options which my friend was super happy about and they were really careful about it and lovely. The fish was delicious, we also tried the spam fritter, jumbo sausage, and we bought so much they gave us some free wedges! The only thing I would say is the chips need a bit longer in the fryer but you could probably ask for that. Prices are very decent too!
