Dickey's Barbecue Pit

I don't do many reviews but after eating my meal I decided to check the reviews others have left and I definitely had a similar experience. The delivery was late but I was notified in advance and my meal arrived before it's second arrival window. The sides were quite yummy. My pulled pork sandwich on Hawaiian bread didn't have any BBQ sauce. It wasn't in the bag on the side either. BBQ sauce is the quintessential ingredient in BBQ. I double checked the menu and it should have had sauce. Without the sauce I noticed that the meat was bland and dry. I could only really taste the bun. This was my first experience at Dickie's. I'll probably give them a second chance because the sides were quite good and satisfying. Had the sandwich been just as good they'd have knocked it out of the park. I realize a lot of places are struggling with supply chain and staffing issues so I don't want to give a rating lower than three stars. I think someone needs to be double checking the orders before they leave the store. I've learned that the GrubHub drivers aren't responsible for that and if it's wrong they can't correct it.

Previously working at a bbq restaurant in the kitchen the food here was pretty disappointing, chicken was sad looking and had weird flavor to it, ribs were god awful and bone dry, brisket was also dry, pulled pork was decent id give the pork maybe a 5/10. All the side we got to try were pretty bland as well. For the prices charged you don't get the quality tasting bbq flavor you expect when going to a bbq place
