We went last night for the first time. Tables were full so we opted to sit at the bar…..and it was a great decision. The bartender, Jake, was super friendly and Berra attentive to all of the customers at the bar. I had the Jalepeno Burger with fries, and it was amazing. Danielle chose the salad with salmon and it was equally as good. Food, drinks, atmosphere and service were all too notch. Will certainly be going back.

I had the chicken finger dinner and it was delicious and the fries omg amazing. The fried pickles some of the best I have ever had. The drinks were great but alittle strong ( not complaining)
On busy nights the parking is a B
But other wise very great

Hit this spot on the random today. Working personally in customer service all weekend: Mondays are my Saturdays. What a great find.
The staff clearly keeps up the kitchen properly as our fried Pickles and other appetizers were clean and properly cooked. My two beverages from the bar were well balanced and tasty. Staff went to full length to make sure the food allergy in our party was addressed and four entrees were all plated to table really well with nothing that had been sitting.
We are too quick to post poor reviews when something isn't to our liking, but post-covid we need to do better to keep a local jewel like this in business.
I met the owner after our meal and I can see why the quality is high. Don't be fooled by the location or the unassuming frontage people. This is a must visit.

Our food took forever, but the portions were huge and it tasted better than we expected. They had gluten free buns and pasta available. The bartender was nice and regularly checked to make sure we were doing alright

Lilac City is one of our top three places to eat in the entire state! If you like fish, the fresh bruschetta Haddock is insanely good AND almost to much for one person to eat. Every wait staff member we've ever had has been pleasant, super friendly, helpful and on top of it.
**Lately the kitchen has been slower than in the past, but don't give up on them (or blame the waitstaff).* Every one of us love the entire menu, friends we've recommended now make Lilac a staple of their date night rotations!

Not much for atmosphere, but good service and good food and full portions. You will not leave hungry. Great Black 'n Bleu steak tips. Fresh salad choices. Everyone enjoyed their meal.

Went to dinner with family, and never had been here. Opened menu online and let me tell you there is everything on the menu. We all like a variety of different dishes, so having a place we can go that everyone finds things is great. Out waitress was FANTASTIC.!!!

Sit-down dining room style. Quite a lengthy wait for two meals, so we were able to catch up on our resurfacing social lives. Live music upstairs! The food was good. Municipal parking nearby.
