Caribou Coffee

The coffee that my husband and I ordered was excellent. However, be wary if you are paying in cash! We bought two coffees totaling a little over $11 and my husband paid with a $50 bill and got $8.13 in change??! Another girl came to the drive-thru window to try to correct the problem after my husband pointed out that we were owed more money back Eventually my husband went inside to correct the problem properly... It's a nice location and they do really make great coffee. Just make sure you count your change. The young lady that originally gave us the incorrect change first denied that we gave her a $50 bill, and when it was proven that we did indeed pay with a $50 bill she did not even apologize.... In fact, she acted like we were inconveniencing her. Someone should check the attitude of their employees. The other young lady that eventually corrected the problem was very nice, and was worried about losing her job if the till was incorrect... She did Apologize. But she wasn't the one that made the problem in the first place.

This place seems to be hit or miss. With food orders they tend to be a little more on their game and usually are good at fixing any mistakes they've made. At this location I've got great coffee and quite a few times I've got pretty poor coffee. Common trend is to get coffee and have coffee grounds in it, which if your like me - you don't realize until your 15 miles down the road on the way to work.

Caribou is absolutely my favorite. Never bitter any drink that is prepared how you want it hot cold or iced. Superior atmosphere to other coffee places. I love the happy, not elitist, workers. A little trivia question to make you feel smart. Always enough parking, speedy drive through. I wish these would come down to Tennessee.

They literally mess up an order every time I come here and I don’t even know why I’m even writing this because I should just stop going there, but for other customer’s sake, I hope they finally get a handle on their order processing. When I get an order that all the items are there, accurate and my hot coffee isn’t served to me cold. It is a pleasant surprise. Today, they gave me 2 sandwiches when I asked for one and if I hadn’t checked the bag they would have charged it to me, plus they didn’t get either of the sandwiches right. I don’t know if I even got refunded, but will promptly refute that charge because they charged me the whole order again. Literally worst caribou In rochester, mn, but unfortunately most convenient (inconvenient?) for me. 0/10 don’t recommend.

Normally good service. This visit was a different cashier that I hadn't seen before. They had fuchsia hair, shaved on sides. I was purchasing coffee, a gift and a gift card. The first gift card would not except the credit. They made me put it back on the rack and pick a different gift card. Coffee was great (as usual). For some reason, the location is wrong on this post. Sorry. This was the Caribou at 3938 Marketplace Dr NW #101, Rochester, MN 55901
