Fazoli's

Long time, fast food chain doling out baked pastas, subs, pizza & other casual Italian cuisine. The Ultimate Sampler came with 4 options of Fettuccine Alfredo, Penne with Meat Sauce, Spaghetti with a single Meatball and Lasagna with meat. With unlimited Signature Garlic Breadsticks that are warm, soft and buttery. Meat sauce tends to taste the same with a slight deviation of a cheesy, meatier texture on the lasagna with ground beef, tomatoes, and Italian seasonings. The single beef and pork meatball is your only true meat on the spaghetti and meatball. Fettuccine Alfredo is Fettuccine topped with a creamy, lighter garlic and Parmesan Alfredo sauce. Overall good flavor and texture. Staff were friendly and accommodating.

While the Rochester Fazoli’s seems to struggle with understaffing and time management in the past, I still love their food and love coming here. It had MUCH improved since my last visit. Vicki, our server, was extremely nice and sweet while taking our orders and serving us, and we got our food in a reasonable amount of time

Let me start by saying the food was very good. Not too salty, great blend of meat to marinara for the sauce and the noodles were cooked perfectly. We needed to feed a family of 4 a salad and a pasta dish, so we ordered the family meal that comes with 2 types of pasta, 8 bread sticks, and a salad for $20. I also added some meatballs for some more protein for an extra $2.50. The pasta was enough to feed about 6, but there was barely enough sauce included to cover 3 dishes. The salad container was definitely big enough to hold a salad for 4 people but it was only filled half way. I read the terrible reviews before I went so I was prepared for a long wait for our food, terrible customer service, incorrect order, and insufficient staff to properly expedite and pack the food. Guess what, the reviews were right about everything. However, since I knew all that before going into the store, I walked out with what I needed and very tasty food at a great price. The 16 year old kid that took my order got half the items wrong when putting it in the computer, but since I made him repeat it to me before I paid, I was able to fix the mistakes. It took approximately 15 minutes after the order was placed to get it, so I left our house a little early. When I received the bags of food, I took the time to review everything in the bag. This meant they had to fix the problems before I left. They added more salad to fill up the bowl, gathered the additional bread sticks I requested, and got an extra bowl of meat sauce I had asked for. Now, here's the part I find inexcusable. The dining room hadn't being cleaned, wiped, or restocked in several hours based on the way it looked. I'm glad I didn't want to eat in the restraunt because more than half the tables were dirty and still had previous customers dishes on them. Those that were empty had not been wiped down and were pretty sticky. Please hire enough staff to keep your restaurant clean and your food coming out of the kitchen faster! Overall, the food was really tasty and was a reasonable price, but the customer service was terrible, the order was wrong, and the restaurant wasn't very clean. As long as you are prepared for these things, I would recommend Fazoli's in Rochester.

Fazoli's is a favorite of mine and whenever I am in the area I always stop by for some quality food. They are always fast and courteous. I went to the drive through at 8pm one night, which is their exact closing time. I figured I'd drive up and they would be closed but one of the employees said they would let me order even though it was past closing! Their team is awesome!
