Cold Stone Creamery

My husband and I came into the Apache store on Sunday. we walked by around 4 p.m. we noticed that it was quite busy so we decided to come back when we were walking by we noticed the line had extended past other stores in the mall and there was two girls standing around on their cell phone not offering to help anybody while one young girl was helping the other customers. we then came back around 4:30 p.m. after the line had died down and we met this young girl named Abby who was helping all the customers earlier when we first walked by. Abby was helping a current customer with their order while there was two other girls standing on their cell phones (the same ones from earlier) in front of the register and they could visibly see that we were standing there waiting and chose to ignore us. Abby finished up with her current customer and then came back to help us. Offering a samples and being very polite and asked us what we wanted. When we checked out my husband and I asked if she was the only one working today as everybody else was standing around and she was helping all the customers. She was very polite and said that this was a very common occurrence but did not bad-mouth her coworkers. I then decided to call the store and ask to speak to the manager on November 5th, the manager said that this is a common occurrence and he's brought it up to his supervisors multiple times and that no action has been done. It's very disheartening hearing that multiple people have complained about the same situation and supervisors have done nothing about it. I'm sure this is this girl's first job and it's probably discouraging seeing that she's being taken advantage of and shown little to no appreciation for her hard work while her co-workers stand around and do nothing. I really hope Abby gets the recognition she deserves and is shown some more appreciation. Edit to add I only gave 3 stars due to the wonderful experience with Abby otherwise I would have left 1.

The person that helped me tonight was very rude and gave me a ton of attitude when I was trying to buy ice cream.. they were also out of a ton of products for the thing that I wanted.. which I can get past but it was the attitude that I can't get passed. I won't be coming back to this store again..Dairy Queen now has my business because of it.
