Walked in today to grab lunch to-go and the manager had quite a few of the employees at one of the tables as soon as I walked in. He was hounding them in a non-respectful and non-productive manner. I don’t know the backstory, but the way he was talking to them isn’t the way to handle any situation.
I used to love erbs and gerbs.. But the past two times I went there the food sucked. 16.40 for a sandwich and soup. My sandwich had one skimpy piece of meat and nothing else. Went into erbert and gerberts today and card reader was down. I had no cash so the employee paid for my sandwich out of her tip money. I told her I would be back to pay her back and I was actually back there in 10 minutes time and paid her back right away. Good food and great employees!
Just not....appealing. Jimmy John's, firehouse, jersey Mike's all blow this place out of the lunch line.
Place is starting to get busy, though later in the day can sometimes crawl by without customers. During this national health issue it's a simple sandwich shop with daytime hours. I typically wipe down everything a customer could touch with peroxide cleaner (and being taller, i can reach everything)
