Star Ocean Buffet

Good food. Nice atmosphere. Attentive wait staff for the most part. Love the koi pond. Huge koi. If you love to eat at decent buffets, then you'll definitely get your money's worth. I gained about 20lbs worth on this visit 😆. They have a soup & salad bar, sushi bar, and a hibachi grill. Awesome stuff!

I enjoy this buffet very much. Interactions with staff have been pleasant. Maki rolls are made fresh , they have BBQ pork buns as well as taro buns and food variety is great. Family friendly as well as a nice spot to just go get your grub on. Weekends are the busiest so I would recommend treating yourself and/or others to this buffet during the week.

I hit this place up once a month or so. Best buffet in Rochester. Under 13 bucks for lunch in today's market is a pretty good value. Lots of variety. Fresh salads and fruit. Food is always hot and looks fresh. Sushi is tasty, and the hibachi is always a good call. The bbq chicken skewers are the bomb.

Great buffet with variety for all tastes. My boys are finicky as ever and they always find several delicious things to eat. They usually have kid favorites like chicken nuggets and Mac n cheese. There French fries are amazing. The sushi is delicious and there is a variety. They have a habachi portion where you put the raw meat and veggies in a bowl and they cook it. The people are super nice that work there. Spend a dollar and buy some fish food when paying. Your kids will love feeding the big coy.

Everything you want in a chinese buffet. Enough turnover so everything is fresh and hot. I cant say enough about the broiled scallops on the half shell. Insanely delicious. Never seen them anywhere else. If it were the only item they served i would be a regular. Crispy skin duck was very good. Sushi, shrimp and fish also worth a second helping. My new Rochester favorite. Sat by the waterfall and koi pond. Great variety. Very nice very clean serving and dining areas. attentive wait staff
