I come to this place EVERY time I'm in town. They have THE BEST Beer Cheese soup I've ever had, and their fresh made rolls are AMAZING!

I ate lunch there every day when I was at Mayo for a week. The soup was wonderful, and so were the fresh warm rolls.

The place is decent. The people working there are "ok" not super friendly. I had a chopped salad. Bag lettuce but fresh and an enchiladas that was pulled out of the refrigerator and microwaved in a to go container. It was ok. The price seems very reasonable and I waited about 5 minutes at lunch time.

I haven't even been here since last summer but it just popped into my head so I'm leaving a review. I friggin love this place. I'm from Rochester and I have returned to salad brothers every time I've gone back. I like to go twice if I can because I like so much of the menu. It's not even worth listing which things in particular I like. I have specific cravings for half of the menu. It almost pains me to write this because I wish I was there so bad.

I was pleasantly surprised by this little find. Accessible via the downtown subway, which is perfect during the winter, Salad Brothers has very good food with a homemade style, and low prices competitive with the cafeteria at the Mayo Clinic. I think I was most impressed with the friendly service. The gentleman who helped us was quick, professional, and knowledgeable about the restaurant. It became very apparent that this is a staple stop for the locals, who he knew by name, all the more adding to the local charm. I definitely recommend this to anyone in the area, and be sure to grab plenty of bread sticks to the right of the soda fountain (which he was quick to replenish with more straight from the oven when notified they were running low).

What happened to their customer service? Today more than every, service is as important as the food for any restaurant. We were visitors to Rochester and Salad Brothers every 90 days for years and years. We just returned after after 3 years away and went there twice in three days. They were not friendly, engaging, or helpful in any way. This is A HUGE surprise! They used to talk to you and try to help in any way they could. As of today, we still like their food but are VERY disappointed in their people.
