We had a wonderful service. The meal was reasonably priced. Oysters were great. Our appetizer was amazing. Felt like both entrees were a bit dry and overcooked even with the sauces. The dessert was delicious, salted caramel crepe cake. Worried about it being cloying or overly sweet but it wasn’t. Chocolate cookies were slightly crisp on the outside and then underbaked inside. Took them home to finish cooking and ate them with ice cream. Overall, this will be a place I could add to my Happy Hour list for the bar menu, appetizers and oysters.

Overall, a great experience. Service was friendly and excellent, food came out in courses at a reasonable pace despite a full dining room, and most of the food and drinks were delicious. The only dish that really fell flat for us was the steak tartare. I don't know if there were supply issues or what, but the bed of chopped iceberg lettuce and oversized diced tomatoes was totally unnecessary, plus the heavy sauce masked any flavor from the already weak meat. The oysters on the other hand were FANTASTIC and definitely a highlight on the menu. The portion sizes are simply unpredictable - some were reasonable for one, and others, like the desserts, were clearly meant to be shared. On the whole, worth a repeat visit.

Beautifully placed in a historic building, food is great, staff genuinely love working here. There’s a prominent oyster bar, fresh overnight from both ocean coasts. The menu is loaded with lots of options in appetizers, main courses and desserts, as well as abundant bar and brunch items. It’s a great place for drinks and socializing.

Nice brunch with musician 10-12. Many interesting drinks but I can't have alcohol so had the regular coffee. My choice was only $12 but with appetizer and drink that would triple for others. I was going to tip the musician but he was on an app I haven't loaded.

This restaurant just may be the best place in Rochester! If you are looking for the most elegant, organized, punctual, and service centered restaurant with a menu sure to please any palate, look no further than the Bleu Duck Kitchen! I had my brother and sister-in-law's rehearsal dinner here and they still cannot stop raving about their experience. The owner is absolutely wonderful, kind, sweet, and incredibly accommodating. Our server, Ben, was absolutely amazing as well. He was always present, ensured that no glass was ever empty and had each course presented in an incredibly punctual manner. We wholeheartedly enjoyed our experience and plan on making this restaurant a priority for our family for any event in the future!

Went there for dinner a few nights ago. The food was amazing! I would highly recommend getting a starter, second & main course. The starter & seconds very small portions. I had tap beer from Little Thistle & Thesis. Both were very good. I tried an old fashioned, however it was quite strong. Overall a great experience.

I cannot describe how amazing the service and food is here. Not only do they talk to you like you’re their friend, but they’ll work with you on finding something you’ll LOVE to eat and drink. The menu is always changing, which keeps things fresh. The oysters are shipped in multiple times weekly. The servers are always sooo welcoming and accommodating. My favorite place to go in Rochester for sure!

We're in Rochester to visit Mayo Clinic as my wife has been diagnosed with an incurable form of blood cancer. After a day of being poked with needles and talking to various doctors who are desperately trying to find solutions, and buying her (a former marathon runner) a wheel chair because she can hardly walk by herself now, we were discouraged. And then she said she wanted decent salmon for dinner. I googled it and Bleu Duck came up and we went. Totally great experience that boosted our spirits. She is on a special diet (no gluten, no dairy) and the chef totally catered to her without question, making a special dish of the salmon to meet her needs. The food was incredible. The service was incredible. We'll certainly be back if we have the chance again. And Google was correct, it truly is the best salmon in town. Thanks Kasey and the rest of the staff for taking such good care of us and making our day.
