The Original Mr. Pizza South

My wife and I would like to take a moment to extremely express our gratitude to Ryan. In my previous review (which I deleted for good reason) I mentioned my concern of the pizza my wife and I ordered. I mentioned that it wasn't complete. Truth of it is, is that I was mistaken. Half of the pizza was Margarita style and the other half veggie style. Ryan humbly reached out to me and expressed his sincere concern. He helped me understand that part of the pizza (Margarita style) was as the menu stated. I agreed with him and I apologize for the misunderstanding. Ryan was kind enough to make us another specialty veggie pizza. How amazing is that!! You may think I'm exaggerating but my lovely wife agrees with me. It is the best pizza we've had in a long time. Ryan and his family are a good example of professionalism and sincere love for what they do. We will definitely be back to order pizza. Ryan you and your family are truly amazing. We are truthfully thankful. May God continue to bless you, your family and your family business.

The pizza crust was burnt, but the bacon cheeseburger toppings were pretty good. The garlic cheese toast was okay. The bbq boneless chicken wings were absolutely delicious, and worth just buying separately. I was told that the south one is better than the north one, and that is simply not true at all. At the north one the pizza toppings didn't fall off after the first bite like it did when I ordered from south one today 02/20/2022.

We have been going to this place for decades. Whenever we come back to the area to visit family, it includes a visit to Mr. Pizza. Absolutely fantastic pizza! We got their bacon cheeseburger pizza tonight and I had to stop myself from eating it all by myself. This is a must-visit pizza place in Rochester. Picture is of Canadian bacon pizza.

UPDATE February 2022: When I first moved to Rochester, Mr. Pizza was my favorite pizza place. I raved about how good they are and how I'm happy to support local pizza chains over the national chains. This most recent experience at Mr. Pizza though has led me to write this review. I used a coupon and ordered a Chicken Alfredo large pizza with pepperoni. When we received the pizza and tasted it, the chicken was very dry and tasted old (like it was leftovers and shredded and thrown on a pizza). Since I received the pizza late in the evening and had to go to work, I had my girlfriend call and express our displeasure. I wasn't interested in a refund, I just wanted a different pizza. Instead, the person who answered the phone said they would wait until their manager came in and would call us back. They never called us back or even apologized. This is sad news for me because I really respected Mr. Pizza but I will no longer shop with them and make sure this experience gets out everywhere. REDACTED (Old Review): I am a proponent for local pizza over national brand pizza and this proves why. Mr. Pizza might be the best pizza I've ever had in my life. The DD crust they offer is incredible. It cost under $20 for a large and they put the cheese over the toppings instead of the other way around. I will definitely be a regular customer here.
