For starters I had the bead basket that contained 4 different kinds of delicious fresh baked bread. Then we had 2 different kinds of soup. Chef Rohe makes the best soup in town. It doesn't matter which soup you pick as they are all great. For the entrees I had the grilled snapper with creole andouille sauce, my wife had her favorite the creamy chicken basil. Both entrees were outstanding. Chef Rohe is an expert with sauces that take the entrees to the next level. For dessert I went with the chocolate walnut ice cream and the Filipino ube yam cheesecake. The ice cream was delicious and consisted of 3 large scoops. The cheesecake is an excellent change of pace. (see photo). Prescotts is a locally owned and operated restaurant that uses fresh ingredients sourced from their own garden. We are happy to support this unique gem in Rochester.

One of the greatest meals I’ve had in Rochester - and I’ve lived here for 14 years! I hadn’t been here since I was a kid so I didn’t remember much, but the atmosphere was fun and food was delicious. First pic is crab stuffed chicken and second pic is creamy chicken with sun dried tomato, mushrooms and a basil pesto sauce (can’t remember the exact name). The staff was so friendly; the restaurant was almost empty when we were ordering dessert so a staff member gave us a “tour” of the dessert case, which made it even harder to choose! It was a little pricey for the Rochester scene but well worth it.

The owners of this Ma & Pa eatery are welcoming, the menu is farm to table. Upon entering, your olfactory senses are greeted with herbs, spice’s and EVOO! The desserts are many, a feast to behold! From start to finish it was perfection! I recommend finishing with their Crème Brûlée and Vietnamese coffee brewed too down! We highly recommend for a date night, night out with close friends! Yummo

Went here for our anniversary and everything went great. Wait staff was friendly and attentive, knowledgeable about the menu. They had locally sourced food and fun unique creations as well as classics. Both meals were tasty and portion size was just perfect. Good wine selection. Definitely get dessert!

The blackboard stated Wagyu Beef so I thought that I would try it out. Asked the waitress if the Wagyu beef was Japanese or American Wagyu. She said American. Thought that the fact that it is American is reflected in the pricing. Four of us at the table ordered the Wagyu beef because it was the special. I had the sausage soup starter and part of the bread basket. Bread was good. Soup had little bits of meat that was hard to find. Seemed like mostly vegetables. Tasted good so no complaints. When our main plates arrived, we were surprised to see the super lean meat presented to us. I ordered my steak with broccoli and mushrooms. The broccoli was overcooked and mushy. Mushrooms were cooked right but too heavy on the salt. The steak came out medium rare but tough as rubber. To compensate for the entree, I ordered rhubarb pie. That came out tasty. My friends enjoyed a bottle of house wine which turned out nice.

AMAZING. The best steak I have had this side of the the Rockies. Cooked to perfection. Amazing atmosphere, service was impeccable. Desserts that are homemade, are to die for. Baked Alaska the way it should be. Take home a loaf of one of the many breads. A new favorite here in the world of cookie cutter chains. You won't regret coming here!

I have been going to Prescotts restaurant for more than a decade now. The food is incredibly well made everytime (cannot recall a bad experience). The atmosphere inside is really nice and Chef Chris and Owner Jenna are very attentive and responsive. The vegetables and herbs are from their garden and taste delicious. The meats are cooked exceptionally well. The prices are quite reasonable for the quality of food and service. I think this is easily one of the very best restaurants in the city.
Although the location may feel like a detraction (can’t walk from downtown, next to a laundromat), it’s really a blessing if you are driving. It’s very easy to get to, and easy to park without having to pay or search for spaces.
This is a top tier place on our list.

Once again, the meal was outstanding, and the service was excellent. We have been to this special place too many times to count now, and we will keep going back.
