Papa Joe's Italian Eatery

I have eaten at Papa Joes many times and I always love it - but this past weekend was the first time I have used their catering service. They did not disappoint. We had a small dinner party of 13. Everything was ready on time and the food was delicious. They were able to accommodate special diets and there was enough for leftovers for people to take home. The price was excellent and the person who assisted in the pick up was very helpful and courteous. Will be using their catering services again!

Excellent food, extremely nice staff, I can't wait to go back. A friend that I haven't seen in months and I ate here last week. We were there for 3 hours and the staff were so nice and never asked us to leave ( that's happened to me before elsewhere). I am a picky person, and everything was perfect from start to finish.

EXCELLENT food! We had a party of 13 and the server never asked us how we wanted the bill split, and it took forever to get drinks and bread, etc. and then took forever to pay the bill. Their point of sale system apparently only allows them to split a bill 4 ways? Great place, just not very wl equipped to handle large parties. Ceiling also in disrepair - looks like there are aome water leaks and stains.

First time at this restaurant. Made reservations (and so glad we did), went straight to our table. Hostess seated us, waitress was there within one minute, to take our drink orders, and placed basket of homemade bread on the table. Waited a reasonable amount if time to look at the menu, and waitress returned and took our orders. Meals & salads were delivered to the table and I could not believe the size of the plates (platters) and the amount of food on them. They dish a VERY GENEROUS PORTION of each meal. (I love the saying, "IF you leave here hungry, it's your fault!) ALL the staff, from hostess to the waitresses, waiters, and bus boys were extremely polite and courteous. We were NOT asked consistently or to many time on the quality of the meals. We were left to enjoy the meals and the company we were with. It was a very, very great experience personnel and food wise. And it made my wife ask if we could return here another day. As I stated, this was our first time here. And it was my wife's birthday dinner. Yes! She loved it! I would definitely give this restaurant a 5* rating. (If I could give a 10* This place would get it) !

Fantastic food and great service. Would be 5 stars easily, but the ambiance is lacking since it’s a former bank and it still feels like it in the dining room. The other issue is the hours. They close somewhat early for a dinner restaurant which was kind of awkward when we were taking a colleague out after work.

I usually don’t dine out. But I had just spend four days in the hospital with a clear-liquids diet so I was desiring something that’ll feel satisfying. Not only was the staff here above and beyond attentive, never once did I see anyone without a smile, our waitress was so welcoming and proactive with any refills, I not only left with a happy full-feeling, but with a large smile as well for service like this is VERY hard to come by. The food was beyond flavorful and plentiful. A dinner will fill up two grown men’s appetite FYI, expect leftovers. It’s no surprise the amount of accolades this restaurant has and earning more I doubt will be an issue.

For her birthday, my better half wanted to try something new for dinner, and I happened to find Papa Joe’s. As we drove up to the restaurant, it sure didn’t look like much from the outside—a former bank based on the looks of it. But inside is tastefully decorated and certainly feels like an Italian restaurant. For our first experience, I have to say we were quite impressed! The prices were reasonable for the portions we received—I left satisfied with the portion size (which is very rare given I’m a big guy) and my better half was pleased to have leftovers, both in terms of quantity and something she’d actually want to eat again later. We were also impressed with the attentiveness of the service, and particularly for dining on a Friday evening, I was very impressed with the efficient pace of our meal. Drinks and bread came quickly (including refills on both) as well as the salad / soup course, and then the main course. At so many restaurants lately it seems like things take an inexplicably long time, and also in many restaurants lately they bring everything out at once leading to your eating food that is no longer hot like it should be (instead of bringing bread and drinks, then salad / soup, then the main course, allowing you to finish one thing before being presented with the next). I ordered the Chicken French and my better half enjoyed a dinner special—based on how much we liked the food and the service, we both are looking forward to dining at Papa Joe’s again soon!

Take your hubby on a date night was a success! Hubby picked Papa Joe's! All about trying new foods and supporting local businesses. I'm a huge alfredo junkie, but to my surprise no alfredo. Soooooo, I settled for chicken parm! What a great dish! Enough food for the both of us lol yummy! Hubby got lasagna, ate every bit! Our server was quick, friendly & knowledgeable about the menu!
