Chester's Kitchen And Bar

Chester's burgers are cooked to temperature, very juicy, good size, very nice since I prefer medium rare burgers. Chester's baked beans were absolutely delicious. I am not a fry person, so I am always looking for something else to order with my burgers. I ended up eating burgers and beans all week during my stay after my oral surgery at the Mayo Clinic - burger was soft to eat and delicious with no bun. Clean restaurant. Nice staff. Glass dividers for distancing between booths. Masks required.

Great food! The calamari was fantastic. The server suggested a side of Chipotle ranch it complamented the dish very well. I shared the honey chicken and the rotisserie chicken sandwiches. Both were very well put together and full of flavor. I highly recommend both. If you are visiting the Mayo clinic this is just a short walk via the subway tunnels and sky walk.

The food: Loved my salad with dried cranberries and blue cheese. The flavors went so well together. And my salmon add-on was perfectly cooked. Both mine and girlfriend’s salads were slightly overdressed though. Would ask for dressing on side if i were you, then apply appropriate amount yourself. The cornbread was the best I’ve ever had. It almost had a bread pudding texture, and came with a delicious honey/brown sugar butter. Outstanding. Overall great experience with food. The service: Krista was fine as far as order taking and food running goes. I just wish she had been more friendly and personable. I tried getting her to loosen up by asking her a couple questions about herself, but she could not be bothered whatsoever. And I know she wasn’t busy because I’m also a server and I know what busy looks like. She simply had zero interest in engaging, which made me sort of sad, as my girlfriend and I are from Denver and whenever we travel, we like to get to know the locals for tips and whatnot. I almost always tip around 25-30% but i can’t justify tipping that much to someone who clearly cannot stand customer interaction. This girl has potential to make so much more money if she simply cared.

The Blackberry Jalopeno Burger is the best burger that I've ever had in my life. Comes with bacon and fried brie cheese, too. Also, cooked perfectly to medium rare temp, as requested. 10/5. I've tried other items, including the lobster mac & cheese and meat loaf, and I've been less than impressed. 3.5 or 4/5. Just stick w the burger!

We love the food at Chesters and ordered their turkey dinner. They arranged a time for pickup and it couldn't have gone more smoothly. Our food was packaged ready to heat up with instructions for each item. I could tell we'd have plenty of food for the day plus lots of leftovers.n The food itself was delicious.
