I've been a long time fan of Java's, even before I was a coffee drinker but if you're learning to love coffee like I once was, can't recommend the Shot in the Dark enough! The Health cookie is my go-to, as well 🍪

Great coffee been coming here and around the area since I was a kid (born in 2000). I love love the yerba mate as someone who wants caffeine but doesn't like coffee!
Always love the art and whenever my friends from out of town visit I bring them here :) I always grab a bag of fresh ground coffee to ship back home as well. PLEASE never stop!

Went in and was a little overwhelmed with what to select, as I do in all coffee shops. A very friendly person had just received their order and I asked what that was. Got the same thing and it was very good. A cold drink with espresso.
Not as organized as an Sbucks, but that is not what you go there for. Great atmosphere, and decent coffee.
I will be going back again, and hopefully moving it to a 5 star.
The bathrooms are located downstairs, a very long staircase. With shallow stairs.

The best thing about this place is it is open till late hours which is something impossible to find in this city. The location is very nice. Very cozy and cute. The food quality could be better in my opinion, still good though. There are also vegan options.

Very nice spacious cafe with lots of interesting art deco, close to music school so interesting for people watching as well. The cappuccino I had was meh, but my husband said his espresso was good. We had a strawberry lemon tart that was tasty. Oatmeal raisin cookie was solid, ginger molasses was fine (my husband enjoyed it, I’m not a fan), the chocolate chip was a letdown. Still an enjoyable experience though.

First time here. Such friendly staff. I felt so relaxed here. I was treated like I was local. Will definitely make the trip back just to come here. And I will pay for parking for more than an hour! Delicious Dirty Chai. And they gave me a to go cup with a little extra🌸

Came in for a nice cup of coffee with a friend sat outside and enjoyed the time spent there inside is very cool and comfortable. Outside is nice too, cookies were great Rice Krispie Treat too.

This was my first date place and my fav late night coffee and study place and definitely a go to of mine throughout college (Go Tigers!)
Baked goods and coffee are always fresh and the service is always sweet ☺️
Highly recommend if you’re someone who needs a little background activity and a treat to get work done or a place to chat with a friend 💕

If you're in Rochester 2 things are a must: Museum of play & Java's. Great coffee and the best thing about them is the atmosphere & art. Amazing! 5 star!
