Went to Gatehouse for lunch. Delicious salad and Pizza. Burgers looked good. Went once for dinner also, great food. Friendly staff, cold beer

Village Gate Square is a nice place to escape the heat and to appreciate great art, sculpture, and a chill laid-back vibe.

Fabulous! Restaurants in the back were yummy. Barber was great. Wish other stores were open after 6pm but it is what it is.
The upper level with arts is amazing to walk around.

This place is unique. I wish more shops would consider opening there. I saw that there was space available for new businesses to open. The restaurants and the whole look of the place is cool. My favorite time is in the warmer months when you can have a drink outside.

Village Gate is a long standing treasure of Rochester. If you want to buy something bring plenty of money (with some exceptions) and stop in at one of the gourmet restraunts or fabulous boutiques. If you don't want to spend money you can still spend hours looking at various sculptures, fountains and art installations of all kinds! (You might want to bring a piece of chalk in fact ;)

I had the lamb burger, fries, and Scott's Ale. The lamb was consistent and well done. Fries were phenomenal. Great conbo. Ambiance was laid back. The general vicinity has the chill vibe. Will visit again when I return to town.

The gate is a staple that we still have in Rochester. Please visit and shop with the local small businesses that occupy the gate. The scenery and artwork is amazing. Definitely worth a visit.

Really enjoyed village gate. From the time I walked in I was impressed with the decorations, design and overall ambiance. The hostess was friendly and accommodating and got us seated at a table immediately. We had incredible appetizers, good drink selection, great main courses and our server was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Food came out promptly and hot and the only complaint in my group was immediately addressed and fixed by our server. I would highly recommend this place for any meal of the day that they serve.

One staff member turns a problem into a party. This was a great night for a group of friends. There was a little issue with the reservation. Seeing us all at the bar she got us seated, fed and we had dessert. The food was great. Corn chowder soup was delish. My companion had tuna on a huge salad that was phenomenal. Lava cake with ice cream a must have treat. So glad the Gate House was flexible, friendly and fabulous! Kudos to the staff member I mentioned to the manager. Great job all around. Go eat there and have fun!!!

There is a pretty good amount of food and stuff to see and do here at the village gate. You can walk around for a little while or go and get some desserts from get caked or even get a drink at nox. They also have some more specialty store or stuff you wouldnt find else where. Check it out, and they have cool art!

You can visit several shops, restaurants, see art, etc in the same mall. The mall, however, is different from your typical shopping malls. Good place for pictures, quiet dinner or a fun type of dinner with other people. Some sections of the mall have deserted type of feeling in the evening , but still cool.

Love this place for a lot of reasons. Really because of the food but the atmosphere is amazing as well. If you just want to hang out, or spend some money on a worthy date, there is a place for it and it has some pretty cool art as well! I always think to come here to have a relaxed sophisticated night with my wife and friends and will continue to come.

This place is amazing. I love walking around and looking at the different shops and businesses. I love the views on the second floor. Great places here to eat at.
