Red Front

My family, friends, and I have been frequenting Red Front for over ten years. We've enjoyed the good food, and the personable service provided by Nick, his family, his team; His wife Ms Carol is missed so by me. Truly a wonderful family to have in our community, with quality service to boot! I love Red Front! And recommend them highly!

Red Front has been around for years. They're a great option for breakfast. The best item on the menu has to be the ELAB - 3 eggs, cheese, and your choice of meat on a grilled french cut. I choose bacon. It's absolutely amazing. The rest of the menu features your basic breakfast and lunch items with hot and cold subs, fried goodness and a nice selection of salads. The interior is a bit quirky. The decor features red and white alternating tiles in various patterns. The kitchen and counter area were renovated a few years ago and are relatively pristine, but the seating area is a bit rundown. It features a narrow strip of several booths that can seat 2 or 4. A couple of tvs, lottery machine, and ATM round it out. I like to stop in every once in awhile to see the owners. They're a father and son team. The father has been behind the register since forever. The son does most of the day to day management and cooking along with a great staff that treats you like family.

This is not for tourists. But if you're looking for a true local joint, where the food is cheap and incredibly satisfying, the toast is buttery and a little burnt around the edges, and the workers and clientel make you feel like you're at home (more like in your mom's kitchen), don't pass this place up! I travel more than the average person. It's difficult to find a place this raw.
