Agree that the "owner" is a moody guy and his wife is similar. However their son is awesome who is there most of the time. Bottom line if he makes your food it will be amazing and he is generous on quantity. The seem to bash neighboring restaurants which I thought was inappropriate. The pizza is ok not amazing but the calzone is the best! We get 3 meals out of one!!!! If you want wings get them across the street.

Good and cheap. They have great subs and pizza and can mass produce pretty quickly they had 6 sheet pizzas ready in under a hour . While some pizza may be better the family owned and mostly run by family business is nice in the small town of rush.

Seans Ace of Trades

Stopped in for a pie but got sold into a plate. Plate was fantastic, unlike most Rochester places who all use elbows the pasta was drool worthy. Homemade is the way to go if I would own a parlor. Unique and tasty. My only regret would be not asking for extra meat hot sauce. Will def be back... To my fridge too for another 3 mouthfuls

Absolutely delicious pizza! You can tell the ingredients are fresh and the cheese! Omg the cheese pull with the first slice was just 🤌 *muah*🤌 The garlic bread is made on a nice and fluffy loaf with a great distribution of garlicy butter and cheese! Would definitely recommend!

The pizza here is phenomenal. I get it every week and never disappoints. That says a lot because I'm pretty critical and snobby when it comes to pizza. Montesano's hits the spot every time. Thanks for being awesome.

Montesano's was great... the pizza was surprisingly good the toppings were generous the sauce was very good the crust was crisp and thick... my only issue was it was slightly doughy we really enjoyed it and would go back if we ever found ourselves in the area... the only problem I had with the entire experience was they have a few tables to dine in... but no bathroom for the public?!? Other than the bathroom we really enjoyed it! And I would definitely recommend if in the area!

This was my first time eating there and I was very satisfied with the pizza.I met the owner and he was very pleased to have my wife and I stop by. We will definitely be back. I want to tryout the subs he makes they sound so good 👍

The customer service is superb. They made me feel like I was part of the family. I requested something not on their menu and they accommodated without any question. The best part, the pizza was truly delicious! They are a bit of a drive for me...but worth it!

Amazing! Nothing like homemade sauce from the best tomatoes grown in California, along with homemade sausage with wonderful fennel flavoring. Well worth the 6 mile detour off I-90! There's a sweet outdoor eating area. Don't let the small restaurant fool you. Montesano's delivers generous portions, big taste and the love put into the cooking from large hearts. Reminds me of the little Italian restaurants in my home town of Eat Boston. The best food ever!

Pizza is good, best in the area… however twice now we’ve attempted to order over the phone only to not follow through with the order due to the incredibly rude, callous older woman that answers the phone.Hope she can improve! Otherwise the make owner is amazing and food is wonderful.
