Mcgregor's Grill And Tap Room

The food is the best part of the experience at Macgregor's! We have tried every pizza on the menu, they are all good but the Cheeseburger Pizza is our favorite. You can get a flight of 6 drinks for $16, which isn't bad. The service is great sometimes and just ok other times. The atmosphere is alright. Sometimes the music is very loud and makes it difficult to have a conversation. Overall though, i will definitely go back to Macgregor's!

We just stopped in for a drink since we were in the area. They have a huge selection of draft beers which was a nice surprise. Our bartender was awesome and very attentive. Her shift ended and then the service quality dropped off. We sat with empty drinks for over 20 minutes, the bartender was running around the large bar area since it got busy. I understand what that's like and gave her the time to catch up, but then she was chatting with people and didn't come back our way. We had to actually try to get her attention, by that point we just wanted to leave. She gave us our bill and was gone again. We ended up paying cash so we could just get out of there without any more delays. We would have stayed longer and also gotten some food too had this not happened.

My husband and I stopped in at McGregor’s for a late lunch today. We were pleasantly waited on by Mercy (sorry spelling?) very sweet girl. Normally we go to the Henrietta Jefferson Rd location. Well I’m glad we didn’t. I love the California Club Wrap with turkey. I have never enjoyed it as much as I did today. Even had to take half home because it was so much. Jefferson local usually falls apart and nicely filled as this wrap was. The sweet potato fries were so good and perfectly cooked. I told my husband we will definitely return to this McGregor’s again. Good job in the kitchen. I think it’s important to mention those that make and serve our food.
