Fun place with a smaller bar and good diner type food. Ate a typical burger and homemade rings which were good! Had a nice band the Coupe Devilles playing which was fun. Needed a bigger place for dancing and a better stage for the band in my opinion. We still had a fun evening!
We went to dinner with the grandkids to see Santa last Friday night. What a wonderful time. They loved visiting with Santa, also an appearance by the Grinch. The food and service were excellent. Thank you again, Dave, Stacey, and staff. Kevin and Sharon

Visiting Rochester, my first stop is at original Charbroil restaurant at island cottage rd. The food is amazing, best hamburgers, Texas hotdogs, onion rings. Service is top notch. Still making their own hamburger meat. I had double sausage burger, double hamburger and two Texas hots. Plus chicken sandwich. Trying to get my fill. I use to work here 30 plus years ago. Great place to have dinner with your family. I have 4 more days to enjoy eating there before I fly back.
The food was pretty good and there was a great selection to choose from. It's been decades since I've been in this place, we went there as a family when I was a kid. On this night we went to see a 2 man band and it was a bit crowded, so we had to stand for a short time. We were next to the server pickup area and the owner introduced himself, welcomed us and got us our drinks. Another table asked us to sit with them and eventually we got our own both so we could eat and still see and listen to the music. I found out later that there were a bunch of extra people there from an Arcadia high school reunion, I even knew a few! I'd like to stop back for dinner sometime when it's less crowded, they have some great looking specials!
Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Waitress was attentive and provided great service. Food was great and we appreciated the different options for sides with fish fry/broiled fish.

The ribs fell off the bone was nice and soft with a great BBQ sauce. I don't like spicy and it was perfect. Little sweet but not overly. Mac & cheese was traditional flavor but liked it creamy. French fries were perfect nice and crunchy but not greasy. Fries tell me a lot about a place. Definitely going to bring the family and friends here. Wait staff friendly and attentive.
The food was amazing. Our server was fabulous. She shared the history both of the LDR and Char Broil restaurants when she heard us talking about both locations. It was so interesting. We are coming back on Friday again. Can't wait.
Excellent food, prepared well, good variety, excellent service, reasonable prices. Sometimes a bit crowded. Would like more handicap parking near main entrance.
