Char Steak & Lounge

So this was my first time at Char Steak & Lounge. I visited with a group. We had drinks up stairs on the ninth floor. Great view of Rochester from the bar area. Drinks are Awesome 💯 had an Old fashion, it was really good 👍 Moved to our private table in a conference room, it was really nice 👍. Ordered appetizers The GRAND PLATEAU 4 oysters, 4 colossal shrimp, split lobster tail, 4 0z. tuna tartare, lobster toast mignonette, tabasco, cocktail sauce and Fried CALAMARI marinara, breaded ciliegini I ordered the 8 FILET MIGNON with 'AU POIVRE peppercorn brandy sauce with a baked potato. The most interesting thing was we enjoyed some Turtle, it was delicious and I would recommend trying it. The drinks were on point ☝️ The food is great 👍 The service we received was awesome 👍

Restaurant and food were excellent but a bit pricey. However valet service deserves a ZERO! I used it because of a disabled partner. They wanted payment up front which was unusual. At 9PM on leaving, they were nowhere to be found. No keys or information. Finally found someone at the desk who found the keys and said the car was somewhere in the lot!!! AWFUL! Fortunately, a very nice security guard heard me and found my car. Avoid the valet...they need to be fired!

I was in town for work and stayed at the Double Tree. This restaurant was extremely convenient for breakfast every morning. I ordered off the menu every day, but the buffet is reasonably priced at $20. The selection looked good. I enjoyed the eggs and potatoes each morning. The staff is wonderful. 11/10 recommend.
