This is quite possibly my favorite place to go for comfort food. Literally the broth is incredible. Highly recommend the beef pho, papaya salad, and the fried squid. Their coffee with the condensed milk is also incredible. There is a good amount of food and the food is very affordable we almost always have leftovers.
Fantastic. Gotten chicken pho with beef broth and extra hot sauce as takeout many times here. Never a bad experience, excellent price for the quantity, invariably polite and fast service. Just a great place. Highly, highly, highly recommend.
We were recommended by friends who studied in Rochester Institute Technology few years ago that SEA Restaurant serves the top 1 pho in their opinion. We visited with high expectation but left with little disappointment.
Dining-in is currently allowed with social distancing and the staff was really friendly. The decor is bright and clean with limited seats. The food was overall decent but was overrated and definitely not the top 1 pho for us.
We tried their beef special pho with brisket, rough flank, rare steak, tripe and meatball, shrimp salad and fried squid with reasonable price $30 (+tax & tip) and great portion.
The broth was flavorful and light but some of the beef was overcooked. The fried squid was the best, tender and juicy, but a bit too spicy for me.
Overall, SEA Restaurant is a good place for pho if you live in Rochester, but we wouldn’t recommend to visit during your trip.
We quite enjoyed this little gem. The staff was friendly, welcoming and fairly attentive throughout our dining. The stir fry noodles with shrimp and vegetables had max flavor! Such yummy goodness!! 😋 The Pho wasn't as "unphogettable" as we'd hoped, but it wasn't a hard pass either. It was good, down-home pho ga.. just what we needed on a cold, wet and windy day. 👍🏿 Definitely saving SEA as a favorite!
Oh, and if you go, get the Thai Tea!!
Highly-recommend! Ordered lunch yesterday and today: Beef Special Pho, House Vermicelli, Pork Vermicelli and fresh spring rolls are all fantastic! They did not have the fried chicken wings and the grilled pork chop rice plate ready yet (too early)... I can't wait to go back for dinner to try those! The ladies working the takeout counter are awesome as well! Great job SEA Restaurant!
This has been my sister and I favorite get together spot for years. The fried calamari is always so fresh and delicious. They also have some of the best pho in town. Let's not forget the sweet sticky mango rice (SCRUMPTIOUS)

Wow ... this place is Pho-real ! Every single time I come everything is amazing . They really nailed the Pho broth. Comes with plenty of fresh veggies and sauce. The fresh spring rolls in the peanut sauce is equally amazing. 👌🏿 Service is always quick and friendly. 100/10 Would definitely recommend to family and friends.
Food and drinks were amazing! Pad Thai, chicken wings, Kapoon spicy noodle soup, pho, teriyaki and especially the Thai tea shake. Service was a little confusing. There’s no sign saying wait to be seated/seat yourself and you don’t walk in to a host stand so as a newcomer, wasn’t sure what to do as nobody said anything to us. We also didn’t seem to have a set server so there were a couple things that got mixed up regarding the checks. Menu has a great mix of options and again, food was all spectacular. Definitely worth a visit!
