Great staff and a very friendly vibe. The atmosphere was a '50s throwback theme. The service was very nice and warm. The food, breakfast, was a bit greasy for my taste but you may live it. The prices are pocket friendly so overall a good place to go.

Very nice Diner. Really fast service. The place was full, people were enjoying themselves, lots of laughter in the air plenty of varieties in foods. Delicious baked goods too!!! There was the nicest waitress, also hostess was so kindly.. TV and restrooms very nice.💕

Nice diner, good change of pace from your typical chain restaurant. Breakfast at all hours of the day. Our server was very nice, attentive and prompt, good was hot and tasty. Note their hours have changed, so they're not 24/7, but open until 10 PM.

Can't quite hit a 5 start because last visit things just felt off. Menu variety always great. Service is excellent. Food not as good as it has been in the past. And sadly cost of a simple meal is getting expensive. But.. still worth the visit and we'll always eat there!

It’s been a long time since I’ve been to a restaurant and was wowed by the service. Jessica is amazing. She has a lovely kind nature. She is personable and makes you feel like she’s an old friend you’ve known forever. She was attentive to each table in her section, doesn’t miss a beat or opportunity to make someone smile. Our meals were tasty as anytime I’ve ever eaten there. Always good food, always good service but Jessica is a wow 🤩

Good local diner. Everything you would expect in terms of menu choices. Had some good daily specials too. Service was fast and the staff was attentive. I'll go again next time I'm in town.

We had a bacon omelette and broccoli & cheese omelette with breakfast potatoes. Food was good, service was fast and friendly. The only note of concern I would give is that you will pay more if you use a credit card for payment, as they have a surcharge they will add on. To save money, either pay cash or try somewhere else that doesn't surcharge for credit cards. The credit card surcharge is 3% or 4%.. somewhere in there I believe. It says on a sign posted on the door on the way in.

In all my 50 years, this place has NEVER failed to be the best around. The menu is absolutely huge, so many options! Vrry clean diner, with a retro comfortable atmosphere. Very kind and capable servers, delicious food....all without compromising their quality of food! I highly recommend! 24 hours a day 7days a week....used to be my go to for drunk food nights back in the day, and I absolutely love it the same to this day. Pictured are BLT club with fries, and a Gyro and feta omelet with peppers and onions added.

This has been a favorite place for my husband and me to come to whenever we come to Rochester. The food is always good. A couple negative things unfortunately. Waitress had to get me another cup of coffee because there was food stuck to inside of cup. When I unwrapped my silverware, my knife had food stuck on it. The ladies restroom was not clean at all.

This is only place my Dad will agree to go for breakfast... food is always delicious and the waitresses and waiters very friendly. "Best bacon and French toast anywhere" says my Dad. The food has always been perfectly cooked every time we go. Excellent diner for breakfast.

Amanda T. was a great waitress. The french fries were perfectly cooked. The cheeseburger was fine... but the roll was dry. The club sandwich tasted good... but the cheese was so thin it was nearly nonexistent. The shakes were awesome... just wish we had glasses to our them in!

I've literally never given a 1 star review before and am sad I have to do it this time. I got a burger from there that was literally pink all throughout it when I specified super well done (and even if I didn't - meat should be cooked thoroughly unless otherwise specified). Service was not the greatest to top it off and I unfortunately will not be returning.

Breakfast 24/7. I've been going to Jay's for years always for breakfast. Never been disappointed with the food or the service. The only thing I wish that they would bring back is the tuna-noodle casserole. I'm there at least once a week with friends and have a good time every time Give it a try

Almost anything would be better. I work overnights, and Jay's is one of the few places I can go to during my shift. It's a shame that they have such low standards. I like my burgers at least chewable, but theirs are like pucks of burnt rubber. Pancakes are like dry cardboard, and honestly no fun to eat. It's a far cry from Mark's, where I can eat a sloppy-plate and enjoy it to the last bite. I wish they would make better food, as it's one of the only places open late at night

Jay's used to be a fantastic diner, years ago. Now it serves so-so food, albeit fast enough. Nothing like what it used to be and even so there are better diners with similar pricing. A real shame, really. But if you just need to eat something and you don't want to drive much further down the road to one of the many other options you have, it's fine.

Simple, good, satisfying. I used to live 10 minutes from Jays, then I moved to Palmyra. My wife and I occaisionally travel to Henrietta just to go to Jays at least a couple times a month. We always ask for Dawn or Deb....our 2 favorite waitresses! The food is consistently good, service is quick, and prices/portions are great. Open 24/7....friendly people....good food and good times!

My mother and I came for breakfast and had a good experience. It was very busy and we waited a bit longer than average, but the food quality and portion size made up for the slightly longer wait. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good nostalgic "diner" breakfast:0)

I crave the chicken souvlaki often! My favorite place for breakfast at any time of the day. Yeah the wait staff can be annoying but I can ignore that and enjoy my delicious food.

Good diner. This isn't a 5 star restaurant- it's a diner and as such it has diner food- burgers, fries, breakfast etc. But it's a good quality for diner food. Everything has always tasted good with no greasiness. The retro decor is really neat looking and the place has always been clean during my visits. The price is fair for the quality and quantity of food you get and the staff has always been friendly.
