This place was pretty good. Not my favorite, but definitely checks all the boxes. Service was pretty quick and all the staff was very friendly. They have quite a few vegetarian/vegan options, and the staff were very familiar with the menu.

I went there to celebrate my and my sister in laws birthday. It was a great time...Owen's was a great waiter! He was attentive and nice! We enjoyed our time. The Shrimp tacos were AMAZING! If you go there make sure to order the fish tacos.

I am always more than satisfied with the food here! Portions are plentiful, the salsa I could drink, and the service is warm and personable. Great vegan/vegetarian menu and more than enough choices for even the pickiest eaters. Love it here!!

Enchiladas and red sauce not too much and not too subtle. Helpful service and good portions. Asked you get a table because it’s big when other places were a 45 minute wait. Good fried ice cream.

This is a nice place to eat at the village gate plaza. I like the atmosphere of the place. During the warm months they have a nice outdoor bar and seating area in the courtyard area. The inside is nice also with plenty of seating. The food was good and I recommend the fish tacos. The rice and beans however did not have a lot of flavor compared to other Mexican restaurants I've been to. The rice bowl was good and loaded with flavor but I believe that the presentation of the food could be better. I recommend this place anytime you are in the area.

We stopped in while holiday shopping and I was definitely getting hangry. This was perfect, service was amazing, food was on point, it was exactly what we needed.

We asked the waitress's recommendations, because it was our first time there. She recommended a few dishes. I had the stuff avocados, and they were delicious! The atmosphere is great there, the decor has a definite Mexican flair, the service was excellent, and we had the choice of sitting outside or inside. We will definitely dine there again.

Service is limited due to limited staff. It was hard for a quick work day lunch..
11.24.23 update - staffing is still an issue. It will take longer to eat and get on the road. But still worth it

I have been to Salena's a few times before tonight's review. The atmosphere was great and our waitress was very friendly and quick. We got margaritas (one frozen, one on the rocks). They were delish and pretty good. Food however seemed subpar compared to previous times. I felt like the food amount was significantly smaller vs previous visits (ordered 2 al a carte tacos 4.95 ea). The waitress asked if we wanted rice and beans with it (said it came with it). Ended up paying 14.95 for 2 tacos and barely ate the rice and beans, paid for it because I did eat some. My friend ordered burritos and they looked more like enchiladas without sauce (wished I had taken a picture). Sad chips and salsa are no longer free but under the pricing of food nowadays. I will still recommend Selena's but hope tonight was just a fluke..
