Review Panzari's Italian Bistro - Rochester

A very lovely experience at Panzaris getting some dinner by myself. I was greeted right away and seated comfortably. The menu all sounds delicious. I ordered the Arancini Rice Balls and the Chicken French. Both of these dishes were prepared wonderfully. The arancini has the perfect amount of sauce and flavor. The Chicken French was breaded perfectly, had the perfect amount of lemon to wine ratio, and the portion was large enough for me to take home for another meal. Overall, I am happy I decided to stop in and I will be back soon!

I visited this place with my family because we had a craving for Italian food, and we were pleasantly surprised. I ordered the arrabbiata, and it was good. The sauce was more interesting than most red sauces, because it had carmelized onions and roasted garlic in it. It was very rich, and just a little too sweet. Other thoughts: the portions were generous, the wine was good, the ambiance was really nice (small but not cramped, with great lighting). The cooks were understaffed, which meant that things took longer, but they were doing the best they could, and the wait staff was excellent. This is definitely one of the best Italian restaurants I've eaten at in Rochester, and it would be a great spot for a date. We'll probably be back.

First time there! They were a little understaffed, but the staff that was there absolutely killed it! The chef in the back lastnight deserves a lot of praise the food was so so incredible, and he was very very busy. Portions are very generous, the restaurant itself has a diner vibe. We loved it, and we will definitely be back!

Had dinner here for the first time. From the minute we called to see if there was outdoor seating, this place was the best. Kevin took our call and when we told him we were close by and hoped for an outside table he reserved one for me. When we arrived Kevin was the only server on because of several call ins. He handled it like a pro. The patio was full but he made us and all the diners feel like we were the most important people in the world. We were definitely all rooting for him. We had the pizza Bianca which was delicious and were treated with bread and “extra” sample size cocktails as a thank you for our patience. (It was a lovely night- no need for patience). Kevin made a connection with each table and took time. We never felt like he was just trying to get through it. Did I say the food was fabulous? Bread fresh and warm with garlic butter. Our pizza was great. We will be back for sure.

Cold night in Rochester...in from out of town. Looking for a chilled atmosphere, good people and good food. Found all three. It would not be fair to put a weight on things....I would just say if you are in town and you are looking for either of these things go and enjoy. But the food is great....enjoy!

Great service and awesome food. Chicken parmesan was very tasty, good crust and cheese. Served with noodles although I prefer spaghetti, still very good. One of the few places open after the storm.

Great customer service (went above and beyond, even took pic with us), fantastic appetizers (crab cakes and calimari) and dinner (tons of food for each plate ordered, enough for lunch next day), delicious dessert (cannolis and espresso) and wine (many different countries)... All in all definitely a great place to go for the most all around night out you could ask for

The food was cooked perfectly! I had chicken Marsala with asparagus. My husband and daughter had brick oven pizza. The cook will make it how you want. The waitress was friendly and polite. Very clean and nicely decorated. We will be back! And they are open now on Monday at 4:30.

The food is amazing here and the service is one of a kind. I recommend trying them out and make sure you take the family too.

Live a couple hours away. In Rochester periodically. Been here a few times now. Surprised I can get in even on a Friday night without a reservation. Surprised, because each time I've been there, the food is terrific, service has been great, and even prices are good. It must be the location leaving this not to be a hotspot. I highly recommend Panzaris.

I visited Panazaris Italian Bistro tonight and it was delicious . I was treated with such great care. My mom and I enjoyed our food especially the brick oven cheese pizza. Shout out to Noah, Tanya and the chef. Thank you Tanya for making that margarita. I will definitely be back.

After all hard day installing a ceiling fan, I didn't want to cook. The restaurant we planned on going to had a 1 1/2 hour wait. We drove through the Corn Hill area and found this nice little Italian restaurant.The server was nice and very attentive. I ordered chicken french and George ordered chicken parmesan, which we split and shared. We both agreed on our assessment of each dish. The chicken parm was great. The marinara sauce was thick, meaty, and delicious. Neither of us were fond of the chicken french. The sauce was very watery and the chicken was swimming in it. The price was about what I expected for a "cloth tablecloth" restaurant.

Nice clean restaurant. The staff is courteous and quick. The Panzari burger was excellent. The fettuccine Alfredo was also good. The white pizza is perfect. The bar and kitchen are visible. Stone bakery for 🍕 is also visible. Prices were in the range I expected. $73.80 for 4 Adults before tip. Left a $15.00 because our server Kevin did well.

I took my girlfriend here on the Sunday night following Christmas 2015. I had never eaten here before, but read positive things about it online so decided to give it a try based on people's recommendation. I was not disappointed. First, the atmosphere is great. While it doesn't look like much from the outside, tucked unassumingly into a small strip mall/plaza at the corner of Exchange Blvd and South Plymouth Ave, the inside is quaint, cozy and dimply lit, making it an ideal place for a date. The food was also exceptional, and as good as Italian food gets in Rochester. I ordered the chicken Parmesan with rigatoni, both of which were cooked to perfection. The portion sizes are adequate, and for a reasonable price. Our waitress was pleasant, and the food was delivered to our table in a timely manner. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for an Italian restaurant that features good food coupled with an inviting atmosphere. I would definitely go back again.

Panzari's is by far one of the best restaurants I've ever dined at. I had the haddock French and it was the best dish I've had in years. The drinks and desserts were delicious, as well. The staff was friendly and their service was wonderful. I highly recommend this place. We can't wait to come back!

First time there tonight. Had the chicken marsala, mashed potatoes and green beans. All was delicious! Chicken was tender, tasty, plenty of sauce. Potatoes excellent. Caesar salad (small dinner salad) was a large portion with enough dressing. Excellent. Dessert was the Lemon torte, to die for. Light and lemony. Service prompt and friendly. Will definitely return.

The food was amazing !!! Great experience, the wine tasted great! I suggest the gnocchi's with white garlic cream sauce, service was very welcoming not to mention the place looked gorgeous, will defiantly be back to try the patio experience. Thank you once again!

We had dinner Friday night (5-12-17), with reservations at 6pm for 3 people. When we entered the restaurant we were greeted right away, however were told it would be a couple minutes. A couple minutes went by and again we were told another 5-6 minutes. Standing confused as there were plenty of open tables. Again for the third time we were told just another 2 minutes. By this time it was 6:30, we had tickets to a show that started at 8pm. So you could probably imagine how frustrated we were. We finally get sat, without menus. They realized and brought some over. We ordered waters. For appetizer we had the calamari, arancini and artichoke french. Delicious, and in good timing. Our server never brought us bread, we had to ask for it. Our meal orders were placed and again came in great timing. All of our meals were fantastic! We weren't able to tell our server because he never came back to check on us, not even to fill my empty water that I sat with my entire meal. He came and asked if we would like boxes. I then said "maybe a little more water too please"... Brought the check, never asked if we would like any dessert. Also none of the tables that sat empty the whole time we waited, were never sat with anyone the whole time we were there. We left and went to our show, later that evening we go to eat our left overs (lucky we stayed together and didn't go separate ways like normal) he mixed up the 2 boxes he had to bring to the table. I would have been very upset had I made it home with my sister-in-laws Alfredo, when I ordered Chicken French. I gave you 3 stars because the food was amazing!!! The service was horrible!!! I never give reviews, I personally find it very hard to go out to eat as I critique everything after being in the industry for 13 years. We will definitely be back as we enjoyed the food. But your servers lack in customer service.

Love Nikki who is the best server in the world and chef Stan’s amazing pasta! Gorgonzola Fromaggi for life. Me and my girls will have fond memories of dinner here and our time in Rochester together.

Customer service at its best thanks to Patrick, April, Stanley the owner chef who came out to check on us and the whole staff. This is how it should be Rochester! The pasta dishes we all had were excellent and we cannot wait to return!

Love this place. I go there every year for my bday. I am never disappointed. The food is amazing. We brought my son's girlfriend this year. She is gluten free and the menu accommodates for that too. Just impressed. Always am. And always will go back.

We came here to celebrate our friends birthday. Everything from the appetizers, to salads & our main courses were absolutely phenomenal! I loved how everything was brought out to the table without too much of a rush so we had time in-between to chat & allow our stomachs settle for the next course. Our waiter did an amazing job & was very attentive to our needs! Thank you for an amazing meal! Will definitely be back for many celebrations in the future.

Everything was wonderful......except it was cold inside. Needed the heat turned up which they did at the end of our meal and only then it was perfect

Not your typical run of the mill restaurant! The servers are very friendly and down to earth! Not to mention to food... I have yet to have a dish I didn't love!

Been going to Panzari's for a while. Great food!! Best arancinis in town. Love the atmosphere and the service is great. Definitely recommend it and go every time I am in town.

Like the place a lot , except there's always a little meat mistake .....we order without meat and always have some kind of meat ( for a vegetarian a bit of a problem ). The rest is great !!

The food was well prepared and quite delicious! The atmosphere is cozy and comfortable. Our waiter is the manager (not sure how to spell his name...Jarrett or Jared?) and he was extremely friendly, efficient and pleasant. We loved our dinner experience and will definitely go back!

SUCH a great place to eat! Eight of us meet here for dinner once a year when in Rochester for a hockey game. Atmosphere: clean & classy, well decorated, wonderful Italian music. Food: unique and flavorful, great wine choices. Staff: professional, attentive, friendly, above and beyond!

I have taken my father here who is from California. He hasn't stopped raving about the quality of the food and how delicious it was. One of my absolute favorite lunch time spots to meet up with people or roll solo. My go to is the eggplant parm panini. It comes out quick, is consistently delicious and never, ever greasy.
