Review Red Fedele's Brook House Restaurant - Rochester

Italian Eatery with steak and seafood. We had a reservation which they book in 30 minute slots, arrived a bit early and were sat immediately as there were a few open tables. Atmosphere is like a cafe/diner. Waitstaff is on the ball. Pasta portions are Very Generous and come with soup or salad. All of our dishes were delicious and we couldn’t finish so took boxes home!

If you are looking for a good Italian dinner this is a great place. It has a wonderful casual atmosphere and delicious food. Tge service is great and give a warm family feeling.

Red Fedele's Brook House has been a staple Italian restaurant in Greece for decades! I personally regard it as the best Italian restaurant in Greece. The venue is very open, inviting, and warm. The staff are always fantastic, and the drinks are made well. Once seated you're treated to complementary sliced Italian bread and butter, and the bread they use is especially good! An appetizer I cannot recommend enough is calamari Capri. They are served in a wine butter garlic pepper sauce, along with banana peppers and black olives. The calamari Capri is probably the best calamari I've ever had, and my family get it every single time we come. The real star of the Brook House menu is the Veal Parmigiana. It's a dish we order very often when going out to eat, and I can say with all confidence that that Brook House has the BEST veal Parm we have ever had. The outside is crispy, and the inside is perfectly cooked and moist. The sauce and cheese are equally fantastic! While in all honestly the pasta on the side is nothing special, the dish on a whole is still the pinnacle of this restaurant. My family and I have been coming here for years, and we plan on coming for years more. In a day and age where it seems like nothing good stays the same, the Brook House has always been consistently excellent! Red himself always makes an effort to come to your table to welcome you and tell you how good his sauce is!

Fantastic meal. Large portions, homemade soup, homemade salad dressings. Was visiting the area and chose local restaurants versus chain. Such a treat. Lisa was on point as our server.

Wonderful place to have business dinners. Had two of them this year and Red Fedele's did a great job. And they have a friendly staff!

We had our 50th year high school reunion Saturday night. About 125 in attendance and the dinner was wonderful. The staff was only visible when we needed something. Fantastic! We have had dinner here before but never attended such a big party. Highly recommended!

This was a club luncheon so we had a buffet with the choice of beef, pasta w/ sauce and I think sausage in peppers. Also steamed mixed veggies, fresh fruit, toasted potatoes, roll, salad and dessert. I did not like the beef. It looked like deli roast beef laying in a gravy. Did not like this. The rest of the meal was very good

At this time of year Brook House is a Christmas extravaganza. Food was excellent. I had the Lasagna. Portions were large. 6 of us all enjoyed our meals.

I went here for the first time on Saturday. I had made reservations but didn’t realize they were required. The service was good. They have a full bar but no drink menu so bring your imagination lol. We got cheesy garlic bread which was the complimentary bread turned cheesy garlic bread but was delish. We got a side of sauce to dip the bread and the sauce was sooooo good. I got chicken Angelo with a side of shells aka Rubinos (which were amazing!) my friend got rigatoni Asiago and said it was amazing! I will be back for sure!

GNOCCHI are the best in town! Homemade and authentic. Chicken quattro also a very flavorful dish. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Prices average. Always on the busy side. 8/22 went with the family. Been awhile and they never accepted reservations before but now they are required. They fit us in since we didn't know and we waited 30 min for party of 8. Not terrible. It was extremely busy for a Monday at 7pm......packed. Everyone enjoyed their dishes. We ordered the calamari app....our favorite! Also the eggplant casserole, salmon dinner, chicken French and gnocchi. All dinners come with soup or salad.

SCOR Christmas party always a great time. Over 90 of us. Food was presented well. Plenty to eat. Thank you Brook House staff. We always gave a great time.

The atmosphere is very nice, very comfortable, low noise. We did not have reservations but were seated within 20 minutes as promised. The server was vey knowledgeable and friendly. She answered questions honestly and made some very good recommendations. The clam appetizer was outstanding followed by the main courses also outstanding. The owner, Red, was around chatting with customers AND clearing tables. We will be back for certain. This was one of a very few exceptional experience in a restaurant. We will be back.

"Dynamic Danielle" was our server who made my niece's 12th birthday memorable. She had her heart set on Italian food for her first celebration in Rochester. Danielle was patient as I explained the menu options to my four guests and brought out the bilingual staff to sing Happy Birthday in Spanish. They all got some birthday cake as a token of appreciation. We plan to celebrate my mother's birthday in May when we can sit outside by the waterfall pond.

We have been here for both normal dinner and also an event. Both experiences were very enjoyable. The wait staff are extremely personable and genuinely nice. I really enjoy the atmosphere as it's more upscale but not stuffy. I went in jeans and felt dressed just fine. The decor is really fun in the bar/dining room with framed movie posters from mafia movies. If my dad was still alive I would have loved to have brought him here. Our dinner was delicious. Love the bread and butter along with soup or salad. The salmon was exceptionally good for an in-land restaurant and I could have eaten pounds of the grilled vegetables! Lovely dining experience.

My mom and I just had dinner at the Brook House this evening and it was excellent as usual. The Brook House never disappoints. Order anything there, you will not be disappointed. Our server was Jordan and he was great too!! Thanks again

This is the first time we have ever gone out to a restaurant on Thanksgiving, and it was just wonderful! Same great service; same cheerful, cordial servers; absolutely delicious food even on a buffet; and well organized seatings. what a pleasure.

Wonderful experience. This place was our go-to restaurant before we moved away. The Saturday before Easter was our first time back in over 8 years, and it was just as good as we remembered. Red and his staff are so welcoming and attentive. The Easter bunny showed up and surprised our son, and they even gave him a Brook House t-shirt!

This by far is the best Italian restaurant in the Rochester area. Red, the owner always walks around and greets every table. The staff is very attentive and personable. You always have "to go boxes upon leaving. Lots of parking and outside dinning is available. The food never disappoints.

Great food. Owner came over to see how everything was. When he found out it was our granddaughter's birthday he gave her a t-shirt! Definitely will go again.

This is my favorite place in Rochester. I have never had a bad meal, I've ordered the wrong dish but never a bad meal

I just happened to notice that someone gave a poor review of the restaurant. I was shocked because I’ve been here many times and the service and food are always great! I even had a surprise Retirement Party for my hubby with approximately 100 people here 12 years ago and the staff didn’t let me down. It’s the only Italian Restaurant that I will eat sauce in and that is saying something.

Great food at a reasonable price. Red is always in the dining area conversing with the customers. Highly recommend. New favorite restaurant in Rochester

I've been a loyal customer to The Brook House since it was in the little house on Ridge Rd. Always a fabulous experience and the best Italian food I've ever had. My parents loved it when they were alive and my children and the rest of my family love it as well. Since sooo many of my friends love it as well, it is always our girl night go to! The owner Red is one of the most thoughtful and caring people I have ever met. I rate it a 10 �

Our family went here on Sunday, my niece said her chicken French was the best she ever had. Everyone raved how delicious their dinner was. I had the Mediterranean haddock... so good! We enjoyed the great hospitality of the owner sitting us so quickly and stopping by our table for a laugh.

We really love the Brook House! The food is delicious, hot and plentiful. The service is always top notch and the prices are very good. The owner walks among the tables talking to each and every patron dining there. The atmosphere has always been relaxing with a great vibe. But tonight, there was a 2 piece live group playing hits of the 50's and 60's and couples dancing by the bar. I don't care for it! I like to talk to my family while we sit and enjoy dinner. I don't want to hear about getting wasted in Margaritaville. I'm sure it's just me. I like an old fashioned Italian restaurant that plays Italian music in the background! I didn't want dinner in a sports bar and that's what dinner kinda felt like tonight. I can get that anywhere. I went to Red's for the Italian atmosphere. I don't know if I'll go back.

Our party of 27 was treated with respect and given outstanding service. Everyone enjoyed their meals and the area where we were seated made it easy for us to communicate. The calamari was the best I have ever eaten!

First time here tonight and was greatly impressed. Literally watched Mr. Fedele greet and check on every table and treated everyone like family. I will be a regular here

First time at the Brook House, phenomenal! We were there celebrating a birthday and our waiter Mike did an amazing job. The food was excellent, service fantastic and would definately return!

Still one of the BEST. We've been going there for years and have never had a bad meal. WE are very lucky to have Mr. Fedele and his family still taking care of business.

Love the food and service normally. Need to update their hours on here. Went to lunch today with a client to get there finding it closed with a sign on the door. Others has the same idea as we chatted in the parking lot as i waited for my client and they waited for the rest of their friends to show up to go somewhere else.
